Your moral compass is a pile of busted cogs and springs.
>we have a whole bunch of idiots in Texas who want the Legislature to legalize the use of medical marijuana.
Yeah, like alcohol and other non organic compounds God did not make. Let’s tell God his natural plants suck. Maybe some pharma opioid and other synthetics would be better for pain and suffering. Indeed.
Reefer Madness indeed.
Perhaps the Vietnamese and anyone else who wants drugs can just move to Colorado. Life is hard and then you die!
But FR's libertarian drug-advocates insist that potheads mostly vote Republican.
My God this is science fiction, what was the movie with James Kahn as a cop with the alien partner?
they must be high to believe that.
Guess who won Colorado.
yes DOS win for president but it was close and down ballot doesn’t reflect the presidential. Also we can conceal carry more places than most states (except libtard denver proper): bars, liquor stores, restaurants selling alcohol, poling places, churches and the private businesses NO GUN signs don’t mean squat.
“Your moral compass is a pile of busted cogs and springs.”
That’s pretty good, Ethan. Was that an Ethan original or did you borrow it from someone else?
Doesn’t surprise me that a prohibitionist like you, Ethan would deem yourself worthy of judging someone else’s moral compass. Enjoy the view from your “superior” moral ground.
Need to nip it in the bud, for sure.
The MJ bud this time huh.
The problem is that these buds aren’t in gardens but in the hearts of mankind. Trying to put a lid on the Pandora’s box of intoxicants is a game of whack-a-mole at best. (Shameless mixed metaphors.)
It will be when life is worth enough to enough people that wasting it on drugs is completely implausible, that this problem will recede. Dear Barney Fifes, people are voting about what is important to them with every puff of “recreational” pot, every hit of heroin, every snort of bath salts. The campaign for life has to look better than “or you’ll be in jail” to win.
The attempt to ban away a problem with the widely understood meaning of life has backfired rather spectacularly.
Cute little jabs won’t ever render this untrue. They are only small and petty.
Donald Trump, notably, hasn’t said anything about drug policy per se. He wants America to keep up better with existing laws. That’s certainly a logical place to begin. Adding more bans to bans that aren’t heeded already, never helps a thing.
“synthetic opioids...”
Oh. I thought they were talking Coors for a minute.
>> Adding more bans to bans that arent heeded already, never helps a thing.
I believe Trump advanced a notable repeal ratio for each new law — for something, somewhere... I don’t recall the sector.
Carfentanil is a tranquilizer used on large animals, like elephants. Heroin is being mixed with that and the results are quite drastic. Transdermal exposure for first responders is a serious issue.
I would not be completely surprised to find Trump eventually characterizing this as a public health issue, and Pence as a public spirituality issue. Our modern bans, such as they were, have been estimated to have caught 10% or so of overall attempted traffic in pot. No idea about other drugs, which may be easier to smuggle.
I look forward to the day when the mile high city is a mile closer to God rather than a mile up in pot smoke, and that’s going to take gospel salesmanship. It cannot be banned into being, by definition. God does not let any situation go to waste, and Colorado’s pot profligacy now may result in tomorrow’s mass repentance from the folly. Not even that so many people were killed or fell ill, but that souls could no longer bear to be numbed.
Kinda weird. Dab-on drugs.
>> I look forward to the day when the mile high city is a mile closer to God rather than a mile up in pot smoke
Well said.
Sound like first class poisons...
How fast do they operate?
The Jackboot government abusing power AGAIN!! How DARE they tell the people what drugs they can or cannot sell to kids?!
