Thirty other states have a problem with this TOO, but you gotta be obsessed with Colorado, Mr. Fife.

From the article:
Some synthetic opioids are so potent that first responders have been killed just touching them.

China is currently waging the “Opium War” against the West. Almost all the raw materials of the deadly synthetic drugs are from China.

2 people dying does not make a “drug problem”. Neither does the government’s inability to declare any and every new concoction illegal as soon as it is created.

Reefer madness cubed or something like that.
I guess there is no way of outflanking chemistry with the law as we know it. Colorado was legally declared the Pot State, but not the Bath Salts state.
A real answer will be a spiritual answer, and the law at most will follow behind it as an echo.

And we have a whole bunch of idiots in Texas who want the Legislature to legalize the use of medical marijuana. Once you start down this slippery slope there is no stopping it. We have enough problems already with anything and everything coming pell-mell across the border.

"In Colorado, a person dies of a drug overdose every 10 hours. Since 2005, drug overdoses have actually been the leading cause of death, surpassing motor vehicle deaths," said Jamie Feld, an epidemiologist with the Boulder County Health Department. Interesting. Who knew?

Send it to California, we have no ceilings on anything, be it Drugs, sex, illegals.......

And we have a whole bunch of idiots in Texas who want the Legislature to legalize the use of medical marijuana. But they just want to make life easier for poor Vietnamese immigrants who presently have to go all the way to Colorado to grow weed for their criminal gangs. It's not fair.
To: VeniVidiVici
Without comparing this to situations outside Colorado, there’s little to conclude. It’s so easy to lie and mislead with statistics, that nothing but a holistic view will do.

Move to Colorado and stand around on a street corner.
Eventually, someone will show up with drugs for sale, and if you touch this stuff and don’t die, you will know it wasn’t the real thing.

Your obsession with Colorado continues, Ethan. As does the problem of illegal drugs. Trillions of dollars spent on the WoD & it’s an epic fail. Yet we left the poppy fields in Afghanistan alone when we had the chance to actually significantly hurt the heroin supply. SMH

Just hate what has happened to California. That state had it all and was certainly a place we used to look forward to visiting. Sad state of affairs.
