Jeff Sessions as attorney general could mean trouble for Hillary Clinton and her family

If Jeff Sessions is confirmed as attorney general, it will mean likely sweeping changes for the Justice Department, especially on civil rights policies.

It also could mean even more investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email practices and her family’s charitable foundation.

Sessions, a Republican senator from Alabama who previously served as a U.S. attorney, has been an outspoken critic of the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server, saying on Fox Business Network last month he was “uncomfortable with the way the investigation was conducted” in part because witnesses were not compelled to testify before a grand jury. He also has said it “seems like” the FBI had not fully investigated the dealings of the Clinton Foundation while Clinton was secretary of state and that, in his view, Clinton might have used her position to benefit the foundation.

Kennedy had an ex-judge on her show. He said that while Obama could pardon Hillary for everything she might have done, she could still be called before Congress to testify about what she has done.

My understand is that the hearing could be unlimited in scope and she could do nothing about it. Anything she was suspected of could be on the table.

If the hearings are after January 20, and she refuses to testify, and tries to take the Fifth, she can be held in contempt and arrested. If she lies she could be arrested and prosecuted. A pardon is good, but not a 100% guarantee that Congress cannot go forward.

So suppose for the sake of an imaginary hearing she is asked about knowledge of or participation in child sex trafficking. If she takes the Fifth she would be reminded that she does not face prosecution for any past participation in such an activity. The impact would be profound if she still takes the Fifth!

If you are going to jail Hillary and Bill and Huma and Brazile, you are going to have to charge Hussein Obama with obstruction of justice. Hussein is the only one who has enough horse power to force people to openly break the law.

I do not follow your logic. The FBI has been breaking the law, openly, for decades. It has generally been worse with Democrats in power, because their allies in the media had no interest in exposing any Democrat wrongdoing.

Even Bill Clinton, after being impeached, got pretty much a pass, because the establishment media went to bat for him.

So why would anyone have to charge President Obama with anything? Not that he isn’t guilty of multiple charges. What makes you thing anyone will feel compelled to charge him?

What will be interesting, assuming that she isn’t convicted by then, is how much the “donations” and speaking fees dry up now that she is just a footnote in history.

Mark my words pardons will be extended

Depends on how much "love" there is between Obama and the Clintons. My guess is not much, and considering the loss of Hillary's political fortunes, I don't think Barry's too motivated.

My hope is slightly different. Convict their entire family, and scores of others, on RICO charges, seize every dime and every treasure they are associated with.... and send them all to prison for 20 years. BTW, that is the plea bargain, if they refuse that then add treason and go for the death penalty.

The Foundation is a NO BRAINER. Even if Trump has to put someone on top of Justice temporarily, the first thing that person will do is dig into the Foundation.

So it does look like the focus group results are starting to come in...and they appear to be showing some sympathy towards Clinton. We know it’s not love, just people wanting them to go away.

I would argue that the first thing will be to find the guy that knows and look at the enormous files already developed

No one is getting one year and a fine for child sex trafficking.

It's probably best to try the Clintons for crimes they're actually guilty of, not conspiracy theory nonsense.

OK! Maybe Zero pardons the individuals. Can he pardon a “charity?”

Can he pardon all against IRS investigations for tax fraud?

Can he pardon tax fraud restitution and civil and criminal offenses?

I agree, there’s more than enough that is out in the open.

But I spent a couple of hours looking through the sex trafficking rumors on reddit yesterday (should have been cleaning the house, LOL!), and I’m not so sure it’s just a wacko conspiracy theory.

Just look up pizzagate.
