Jeff Sessions as attorney general could mean trouble for Hillary Clinton and her family
The Washington Compost ^ | 11/18/2016 | Matt Zapotosky

If Jeff Sessions is confirmed as attorney general, it will mean likely sweeping changes for the Justice Department, especially on civil rights policies.

It also could mean even more investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email practices and her family’s charitable foundation.

Sessions, a Republican senator from Alabama who previously served as a U.S. attorney, has been an outspoken critic of the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server, saying on Fox Business Network last month he was “uncomfortable with the way the investigation was conducted” in part because witnesses were not compelled to testify before a grand jury. He also has said it “seems like” the FBI had not fully investigated the dealings of the Clinton Foundation while Clinton was secretary of state and that, in his view, Clinton might have used her position to benefit the foundation.

“My hope...guilty verdicts...multiple 1 year prison terms (all suspended)...$25 million fine (for Foundation fraud.) “

Fine should be all foreign donations since 2008.

Obama ought to pardon Hillary, and ride his legacy the rest of the way into the toilet.

Go ahead Hussein, go for it!

I’m good with that.
I’d really like to go after everyone involved in allowing the Kenyanesian Usurpation, but we would empty out DC and fill all of the Federal prisons.

If the Clinton Foundation was used to commit fraud across State and International boundaries, it, and its assets should be seized.

AS A REFERENCE-—A 52-page indictment charges Repub ex-Cong Aaron Schock with nine counts of wire fraud, five of falsification of election commission filings, six of filing false federal income tax returns, two of making false statements and one each of mail fraud and theft of government funds.

A conviction on just one count of wire fraud alone carries a maximum 20-year prison sentence.

Congress can also be investigating the Clinton Foundation and then see where things go.

By next summer Hillary and Bill will be sipping on mai tai clutching full pardons laughing at everyone with the fantasy that they’ll actually be touched.

I’m no legal expert, but if the Clinton Foundation is a RICO enterprise, everyone involved will be pulled in via a wide net vs. starting with Clinton. Start at the bottom and work your way up. Prove the damage it did to the country and everyone else goes too. A minor difference right now, but in the future the difference could be big.

even for as much as it should happen, its probably bad use of political capital.

http://www.pollingreport.com/trump_ad.htm

better use political capital for ending illegal immigration, extreme vetting, lowing taxes, getting rid of transgender ideology, etc.

With Rudy appointed as special prosecutor, it’s curtains for Hillary.

Would love to see this, but Rudy disqualified himself with his public comments (much needed and on point).

It has to be investigated because this foundation is the deepest part of the swamp in D.C. Our nation also owes it to the Haitian people who were victims of massive charity fraud. It is a sickening tale from start to finish how greed and graft interfered with so many sincere donations to try and help them. Sickening.

Podesta knew the Clinton Foundation was breaking the law....and his emails indicate he aided and abetted the fraud.

The question always begging for an answer is ----did the buck-raking
Clinton Foundation use the money solicited for the intended purpose?

A Foundation aide's reference to getting German govt money for " 'islands' adaptation to climate change" is interesting.

You know folks, I hate to say this, but perhaps we should pay for the wall.

Put the Clinton crime family on trial on Pay for View, and we’ll make enough money to build ten walls.

LOL

The Clintons knew they were immune from prosecution with Barry and were certain the bitch would win. Their corruption was so brazen and their coverup so sloppy even a prosecution by an incompetent like Lynch would be a slam dunk (if she weren’t just as corrupt).

I don’t think Barry can pardon a foundation. The clintons might not go to jail but the easy slush fund days are over.

Seize their assets and give it to Haiti. Then they could say they did something to help the country.

I have a very strange feeling that their jet is going down somewhere. There are a lot of pissed of foreigners and governments who gave millions for access once she was in the White House.

FR POSTED: Hillary hadn’t even finished unpacking her things in her new office at the State Department after Barack Obama appointed her when a situation was dumped in her lap. The Swiss government was concerned that the IRS was suing UBS AG – one of the biggest banks in Switzerland – to get them to reveal the identities of tens of thousands of clients. (Wall Street Journal)

If the case proceeded, Switzerland’s largest bank would face an impossible choice: Violate Swiss secrecy laws by handing over the names, or refuse and face criminal charges in U.S. federal court.

Within months, Mrs. Clinton announced a tentative legal settlement—an unusual intervention by the top U.S. diplomat. UBS ultimately turned over information on 4,450 accounts, a fraction of the 52,000 sought by the IRS, an outcome that drew criticism from some lawmakers who wanted a more extensive crackdown.

Well, the Swiss may have gotten off pretty easy, but at least a compromise had been reached, right? Job well done, Mrs. Clinton. Peace is maintained between the US and an influential ally. And now we can all go about our business. Except for one disturbing aspect of the story which cropped up in the following months.

From that point on, UBS’s engagement with the Clinton family’s charitable organization increased. Total donations by UBS to the Clinton Foundation grew from less than $60,000 through 2008 to a cumulative total of about $600,000 by the end of 2014, according the foundation and the bank.

The bank also joined the Clinton Foundation to launch entrepreneurship and inner-city loan programs, through which it lent $32 million. And it paid former president Bill Clinton $1.5 million to participate in a series of question-and-answer sessions with UBS Wealth Management Chief Executive Bob McCann, making UBS his biggest single corporate source of speech income disclosed since he left the White House.

The WSJ is quick to point out that there is no evidence of any link between these events, but at what point does coincidence become too much to ignore? You’re talking about one of the richest, most powerful financial entities on the planet who, up until Clinton took over at state, had given a grand total of $60K to the foundation. (An amount which likely fell well short of how much USB spent on coffee and donuts during the same period.) And then, in a matter of weeks, the cash spigots opened up and increased tenfold over the next six years.

Tens of millions in loans to efforts supported by the foundation were in addition to a direct set of cash deposits into Bill Clinton’s pocket totally $1.5M… not the foundation’s coffers. And if I remember correctly, Bill and Hill were still filing their taxes jointly at the time, weren’t they?

The Swiss bank got a truly sweet deal and millions of dollars flowed immediately thereafter into the accounts of both the Clintons and their foundation. So we are asked to accept that there no causal relationship between these two sets of data points. We can’t prove that there is absent some secret recording turning up, but at what point can the media say that this beggars belief and the empress has no clothes?
