What records? Hard drives are being destroyed, emails erased, paper shredders are running 24/7. Oh wait, Federal law requires all records to be preserved! That’s a real knee-slapper to folks in this administration who have never been subject to the law. What isn’t destroyed will be hauled off by Obama as his private papers and so beyond the reach of Trump.

He’s not going to do that, not now, satisfying though it would be. Trump has enough Americans hating him already, before even starting. He would probably let a year or two pass before serving any of that dark ‘red meat’. The exception being more border security. I think he will act on this within the first seven months. For now, he has to convince enough qualified people to work for him. Afterward, all is in place, there will be drastic action leavened with gestures meant to heal the divisions.

I doubt he would keep any of the records we want to see in the Whitehouse. His college transcripts and financial aid papers are in his colleges and he sealed them. I don't think anyone can force them to release these without evidence that they might be showing he lied about personal info to get aid. I also think he had all of that stuff become "lost."
