11/9/16

Posted on 11/09/2016 4:50:33 AM PST by Liz

Hillary's foibles and failures are legendary. The Foundation's buck-rakig, the private server, undermining US ntl security, dead-broke-to billionaire w/out lifting a finger, the Execrables (her staff), Podesta, the Obamas flacking her, etc etc etc.

Now that she was soundly beaten, post here the reasons(s) why YOU THINK she went down to defeat.

Simple, Trump was likeable, what Trump said was America first an we liked it, but we hated Hillary, the choice was leadership or evil

Hillary Clinton is unfit to be the first woman to be elected President of the United States of America.

the dems knew she was the most hated Dem in the country.
I recall back in 2002,there was usual talk about the evil thing running for Pres.
Some pundit said the Dems in rural areas called her poison and warned she would cause rural religious folks to storm the polls to keep her from the WH.

That prediction was dead on .

Looks like Hillary might win the popular vote, anyway - massive vote fraud in California being the primary reason. Even a popular Trump or Pence in 2020 is going to have a steep hill to climb unless a major effort is launched immediately to take these cheaters out of our system. The problem can't be ignored in the name of "collegiality" this time, the way Bush did.

If Trump does nothing else, bringing in a fraud-proof national election system will make him a hero for the ages.

I think the anti police sentiment played a part in the election, Obama encouraged it and Hillary would have continued it.

The rust belt won it for him. In focusing on trade and lost factories and jobs he won enough of the rank and file to take that region. Normally a dim stronghold the unionists switched parties. In a certain way this followed the Brexit pattern which also saw a lot of working class labor voters voting to leave the EU because they also saw their jobs threatened.

This was a repudiation of the establishment. Trump saw that from the beginning, ran as an anti-establishment candidate (and was the ONLY one to do so) and took that horse all the way to victory. He ran as an outsider but an outsider with the name recognition and history of personal accomplishment to get it done. He also refused to play the media game and rebuked them at every chance - he never kowtowed or backed down like so many spineless politicians on our side do. Quite frankly, I think Donald Trump is the only one in the country who could have pulled this off the way he did it. Almost like he had some help from above.

He campaigned his ass off. Like no one I've ever seen campaign before.

He went right up to the inner city blacks and straight up asked them, "are you freaking crazy or what? You want more of the crap you've been dealt all these years ?"

And then, God heard our prayers.

I second that. Terrible candidate. Too much baggage. Lesson-never run a candidate because you think it’s their turn or that you owe them the chance. The GOP has made that mistake. Now the Dems have.

The seed of the defeat harkens back to Pelosi and Reid and the entire Democrat leadership in the House and Senate for allowing Obama to get so carried away with his pettiness.

I asked myself the same question. The only rational reason that I could come up with was that they are not Christians. They only claim to be.
