The Latest: The latest developments in the US elections
The Associated Press ^ | 11/8/2016

The Associated Press is keeping a page of running updates and stories about the election. Below is the latest update since this was posted:

9:20 a.m.

Lines were long in some places, but few voters heading to the polls early Tuesday appeared to be encountering problems.

Presidential elections usually include sporadic voting problems, such as machines not working properly. Calls to Election Protection, a national voter helpline, included people reporting long lines as a result of machine problems in three precincts in Virginia. And election officials at a handful of precincts in Durham County, North Carolina, were using paper roll books after technical issues with computer check-in.

Ahead of the election, there was anxiety over whether voters would face problems. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said the election was rigged and Democrats warned that Republicans were planning to intimidate voters. There were also concerns about hackers disrupting election systems.

We must’ve watched different Hannity’s, last night.

The Trump kids ALL sounded and looked happy and confident, about their dad’s winning, during the Hannity interview.

They are much more reserved, than most millennials, so that may have thrown you off.

You are exactly right.

0vomit, Hitlery, and the other weasel lawyers like to choose their words carefully, so they are “technically” correct. What they are really saying is not what people are hearing.

I listened to a whole broadcast on NPR about election fraud and they dismantled each issue one by one with half-truths and lies in an effort to convince listeners that elections weren’t rigged and could not be thrown.

Hearing VERY VERY good numbers out of Lee, Pinellas, Hillsborough

Rs ALREADY took the lead in Pinellas from 2012-—that would be about 10 hours ahead of schedule?

Pollster Richard Baris: “I’m looking at Lee, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Miami-Dade . . . she’s in deep trouble”

“They need to STOP giving ground to the Dems in early voting, absentee balloting, voting ALL DAY on Elcetion Day!”

Every single “voting rights” outfit is a Dem/Prog outfit. It’s almost like a centrist or conservative voting rights organization can’t get approval from IRS to be a tax-exempt 501-C organization working for fair elections.

Might actually be in several bags stuffed with 1000s of phoney mail ballots.

Trump was talking like that too and Ivanka looked & sounded defeated last night on Hannity (Don Jr did not, however).

When a candidate starts talking about a "rigged election" weeks before the election .. that is NOT a good sign. So if Trump wins will he then say the election was rigged?

Good points.

If Trump wins, as part of his “Drain the swamp,” he has to institute strict voting controls and push Voter ID thru congress.

Purge the voter registration of illegally registered voters. It’s not too difficult to do.

Odd...I’ve seen that exact same comment made by lefties.

Do you not think the system is rigged? Do you think Donna Brazziere giving the debate questions AHEAD of time, to ILLary, is not rigged?

“So if Trump wins will he then say the election was rigged?”

If he wins, it will be because he was able to overcome demographics that I believe are emblematic of a “rigged” system (including the implication from the community organizer in chief that illegals will not be prosecuted for voting).

I hope that’s possible.

Glenn Beck has an Obama man crush.

He turned to the Dark Side Of The Force along ago.

The problem is, that is too late for today. As I illustrated from this article http://www.thepoliticalinsider.com/virginia-voter-fraud-thousands-illegal-aliens-registered-vote/ illegals are registered all over the states. Efforts to purge the polls of illegal registrations (illegals, dead, phony registrations etc,) in the majority of states have fallen on death ears. The dems find some liberal judge to rule that it’s possible to make mistakes and it could suppress someone right to vote.

After today, if she wins, it doesn’t matter the system will never be fixed.

It turns out LOTS of Hispanic Americans don’t want the country flooded with illegals EVEN IF THEY ARE ‘FELLOW HISPANICS’.

And yeah, democrats own the dependent black and ‘criminal black’ vote but there’s lots of black citizens who are Americans first and black second. In the long run ‘stacking the deck’ might backfire on filthy democrats.

My personal bucket list:

Donald Trump in the Oval office for the next 8 years...

Followed by Donald Trump JR in the oval office for the next 8 years....

Followed by Eric Trump for the next 8 years....

Followed by the FIRST woman President-—IVANKA Trump for the following 8 years.....

Maybe after 32 years of serious business decisions instead of ‘politically correct’ decisions, this country will be something to be proud of again.

Obama did a masterful job of destroying the USA.

The voting isn’t over yet. Then we’ll determine whether there’s vote fraud.
