Its over.

It's not over.

These results are based on data obtained by polling American voters. It does not include data from the people who are rigging the election.

Whoa. Trump has broken through to all-time high.

And the 'remainder' is inching down to 9%. We are locking in, finally.

Thank God. If he went down 3 days in a row, that would have been a bad sign.

This is a really bouncy poll. I would have thought a 7-day poll would not fluctuate this much.

The day that rolled off appeared to be a decent Trump day. So he must have won the new sample by a good margin.

“Its over.”

If people actually go vote; yep it’s over.

The issue is can we destroy the democrat infrastructure? Can we roll back the corruption and evil in our midst. Trump is the only one in my lifetime to even talk about it.

This is the poll that canvases the same 3000 people, apx 400 per day, so the same people get asked apx every week (they don’t all respond every week). It is a unique methodology. Its pertinence is questioned by some because it is not random every time like other polls. But it should be a good directional indicator. One problem I see with this poll is selection bias and other biases. The people being polled know they are in this poll, and know what other people in the poll are saying by reading the daily tracking. That could influence them in ways, such as herd mentality. But it’s been fun to watch. In a way I am sad the campaign is coming to an end. But hopefully the fireworks are just getting started. FBI vs NYPD vs DOJ vs State Dept vs Congress vs Wikileaks vs Russia vs NSA... a cage match for the soul of the government.

The internals for you, FRiend. Click on the "Survey Methods" internal tab (in grey). Right next to that is "Detailed Data" and you can grab a .csv file there if so inclined.

...Obverting the Bradley Effect. Give me the herd any day, at least they can be head-counted.

My only two problems with this poll are one, is that is not a two way race but a four way race. Stein and Johnson take a point or two from PIAPS. Two, it is a +7 DEM poll. I think reality is this is, at best a +2 DEM election.

Really R +2. Add six points to Trump’s 48% and it feels right.

The difference between the LA Times poll and all the others methodologically is that the others count only whole votes for candidates and some will add in leaners while the LAT poll allows respondents to rate their commitment on a 0-100 scale. Other polls that measure commitment separately if at all consistently show Trump voters are more committed. It has an argument if news at the last minute moves weak votes which it is trying to anticipate because it always seems to happen as surprises. Could be way off if there were no surprises after the last polls. But if that proves more accurate this time, everyone will be doing it that way in 2020.
