Hampton Univeristy Center for Public Policy Hampton Univeristy Center for Public Policy Enlarge Image Enlarge / View More Images Hampton, Va.— The latest Hampton University Center for Public Policy (CPP) poll reveals that the FBI’s decision to reopen the Hillary Clinton email investigation may have triggered a boost for Donald Trump with likely voters in Virginia.

Democratic Presidential nominee Clinton had a two point lead before the email news story broke on Friday Oct. 28. She is now trailing three points behind Republican Presidential nominee Trump.

With only six days left before the November Presidential election, Trump has jumped ahead of Clinton, erasing a 12 point deficit reported by the CPP in early October. This surge for Trump demonstrates again how erratic the run for the White House has been as we head into the final days of Decision 2016. This is the first time Clinton has trailed in the CPP polls this year, the latest poll was conducted Oct. 26-30.

When Virginians were asked if the election were held today, 44 percent of those surveyed would vote for Trump and 41 percent would choose Clinton, while a high percentage of voters remain undecided (15 percent). This is a major shift from just one month ago when Clinton led Trump by 12 points. (CPP poll, October 2016 - Clinton 46 percent , Trump 34 percent).

I have said since June 2015 that Trump would win the GOP nomination and then go on to win the general election in a landslide. I’ve never wavered. It’s all coming home now.

It was his speaking the truth on issues Americans care about that convinced me he would break through to the people eventually and that nothing could stop him. We’ve been gaslighted for generations by the media, the educational system, the entertainment industry and most of all the political system.

Soon we can say as President Ford said on August 9, 1974, “My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over.”

In the 10 District of VA (my old district), Barbara Comstock, the only Rep incumbent left in NoVA, is trailing her Dem opponent despite the fact that Comstock has renounced Trump and is not supporting him.

Yes, it is. The black vote in Virginia is definitely changing. Veterans and church-goers are more openly supporting Trump! Between the war on Christians, border security, 2nd Amendment; and just a sense of decency is driving much of the black vote to Trump. I see it in my daily life since I simply ask someone I suspect, 'so, are you a deplorable like me?' and s/he always says yes!

I ask this with all due respect. Do you honestly feel like Trump is going to win? I want to believe it but it just seems like so many states have to fall in place. Just feels like one state doesn’t fall our way and it’s over. I’ve been trying to talk my friend off the ledge today but I’m not confident myself.

These polls mean nothing, this was all part of the script. Trump starts to close and even gets ahead in the final 10 days, by the weekend she will be coming back. The MSM will be talking about the “turnaround”.

By Monday afternoon they will be telling the nation she’s slightly ahead in all the swing states, the states Trump has to win. Critical to depress Trump voters on voting day. Bogus exit polls during election day to also depress Trump voters.

The Clinton machine and the DNC have been working for 4 years to put massive fraud in place - Soros machines in 16 states, all across the country manipulating vote counts spit out by machines, 10s of thousands of bogus absentee ballots, millions of people voting multiple times, illegals voting, felons voting.

If Trump doesn’t actually have at least 8 - 10 % more votes, he loses. The fraud will be that massive.

I think the word kabar was looking for is "because". Comstock's opponent is weak and she should have won this easily.

Yes, despite. Comstock is a RINO. She is bending over backwards to appeal to a changing constituency. Comstock expresses her disdain for Trump, but it isn't helping her in the polls. Frank Wolf was her mentor, but I don't see her getting reelected.

Comstock is pissing off the conservatives in her district and the liberals prefer the real thing rather than an ersatz liberal. Kirk and Ayotte are similar examples of these RINOs who are really closet liberals.
