Tried to early vote in Texas today. First day of early voting, not expecting large crowds.
Closest location is in Pasadena a Houston suburb. Middle class refinery workers mostly, large Hispanic population. Get to polling place and have to park 2 blocks away. The line wraps half way around the building (I estimate 200) people. I talk to someone in line and they said they had sent someone out to report that it would be a 3 hour wait. Very few minorities in line. Looks more like a Garth Brooks concert line. These people are not voting for Hillary.
Decide to go to another location instead of waiting so I go to Clear Lake (home of NASA) and find the same situation. Still no noticable minority or hispanic population in line. Left there too (I am not a line waiter). Again, based on stereotypes, no Hillary voters here either.
I go to another location in a predominately minority area (Cullen street) No lines and I easlily find a parking spot. Go in and find a line about 20-30 people long, 100% Obama's people (no Trump voters in this line). Waited about 20 minutes and got my straight Repub vote entered.
Despite the phony polls, Texas was never even going to be close for Hillary, but based on the enthusiam I saw today I am pretty sure it is going to be a Trump blowout (at least in Texas).
Curious what everyone else is seeing in other states.
If Trump wins in a landslide we’ll know it’s definitely the Russians!

I finally ran into a probable Hellary Texas voter yesterday. First one this entire campaign. He whined we don’t have a choice this time and they’re both bad. Stuck on stupid if he can’t see the difference. He’s gay so will likely fall off the fence for Hellary.
Voted early myself at 7:15am this morning in Dallas county. The line took about 15 minutes and another 5-10 minutes for the poll worker to get my machine prepared and for me to vote. Some small chitchat in line about what documents we needed and the basic cynicism/concern you see on this website and just about everywhere about “how can you know whether I’m who I claim I am unless I have photo ID”. Both major parties had an Election Judge on duty and everyone appeared to be respectful and professional.
I got a text from a person who is a minority in my neighborhood about 30 minutes later saying that their wait in line was about 15 minutes too. This person had been on my case earlier as they were a Trump supporter and I was definitely not a Trump supporter. I’ve sure taken quite a bit of flak here for being against Trump earlier in this process. Well do I have much choice now as the Dem’s stuck by Hillary, she has dug in deep with her felonious behaviors, and I fear greatly for the future of our Constitutional Republic should she be elected President. If I can turn into a hardcore Trump endorser for this Election then I think anyone can.
Demographically I think that the ratio of Trump and Obama supporters was slightly Trump-leaning. In my section of Dallas county it went approx 60% to Obama in 2012. My specific precinct went 969 Obama and 701 Romney in 2012.
Just voted here in Kerrville. Was very busy but no real waiting. Texas stays red!!!!
Early voted today. The demographic did NOT look like Hillary voters. Hmmmm....
I just went to look at the voting precinct maps. It turns out that only a small portion of Pflugerville is in Williamson County.
It is mostly in Travis County, which might as well be called "Moscow on the Colorado".
I'll see if I can find voting data for the precincts in Pflugerville.
I’ll be leaving shortly and will pass the courthouse where early voting is taking place in my area just north of Houston. I’ll be back later with a report......
Turn off the TV! Let’s see a drop in the Nets’ ratings even bigger than the NFL is currently suffering.
Trump is going to win or he will lose. I think he will win. SHUT FOX OFF.
The only thing that is fit to watch on Fox is Hannity, the Judge and Dobbs. After this election, I’ll be sitting down all of my TV service and be done with it all, regardless of who wins.
AGREED!
Good to hear!
Exactly.
Texas in play???
ROFLOL!!!

In 2014: 48/46 for Cornyn (R), 51/45 for Wendy Davis (D), 48/47 for Carter (R), 50/44 for Van de Putte (D).
In 2012, 54/43 for Obama.
This precinct also includes a good portion of Round Rock. If it's representative of all of Pflugerville, it definitely leans left.
Howdy neighbor! We voted in Farragut on Day Two of early voting. We got there just as the polls opened at 10 am and the parking lot was full.
The line was very long, but it moved quickly. They were ready for the onslaught.
Local news reported 9200 turned out on Day One. Farragut is a nice little town on the border with Knoxville.
No worries about Tennessee—we’re solidly red and will be called early.
That’s where I vote. Live about seven miles away.
Did they compare the 9200 turnout to 2012?
Pflugerville, which leans liberal.
I stated that the city leans liberal.
