Woe unto Christian NeverTrumps
American Thinker ^ | October 6, 2016 | Lloyd Marcus

For the life of me, I do not understand Christians who say they cannot vote for Trump. Under Obama, leftists/progressives have made huge gains in their efforts to make Christianity illegal in America.

Remember the old hymn, “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus”? Who could imagine a day would come in America when following Jesus would land you in jail? Criminalizing Christianity is happening and gaining momentum.

Powerful Leftists have decreed that following Jesus in America today to be hate speech, resulting in Christians being punished, stereotyped, marginalized, intimidated, fired, and even jailed.

Dr. David Jeremiah, The Increase of Intolerance - Turning Point - Watch Full Video. Oct 02, 2016

A black Christian, Kelvin Cochran, was appointed by Obama to head the National Fire Administration. Atlanta's mayor asked Cochran to return to his hometown to rebuild their fire department. Cochran accepted the job. When a city council member read Cochran's biblical view of marriage in his book, Cochran was fired without due process.

I chuckle, thinking of a phrase used by my late mom who was raised in the rough streets of Baltimore. If you made Mom angry, she would say, “You have torn your drawers with me.” Cochran was the Democrats' golden boy. But when Cochran stood up for Christ which undermined the Democrats' loyalty to the progressive agenda, Cochran tore his drawers with them.

Calling yourself a Christian doesn’t necessarily make you one.

Hillary “Cult of Margret Sanger and Abortion” will appoint Judges and push policies that will increase the number of abortions.

Trump will not. While he may be less then perfect on Abortion, he will not actively be working to make more abortions happen

That is a break point that every Christian should be considering when deciding who to vote for.

They need to ask themselves whether they really want to be responsible for electing Hillary — because that will be the result if they don’t get their act together, smell the coffee and start supporting Trump.

All the Christians I know, are voting for Trump. If they are not, either they don’t know Christ, or they don’t know the issues. If that is the case, they are being irresponsible, in not knowing what is going on around them.

Any Christian that votes for the Hillabeast is most definitely NOT a true Christian.

Trump is awful - I don’t trust him, he lies, he demeans women, he has poor moral character. He’s still better than Hillary.

I remember some of my “Christian” friends who had to vote for obama because of their loyalty to the democrat party. When I brought up the fact that obama endorses infanticide these Christians refused to comment. Oh, did I mention they voted for him twice. It seems w/some Christians are more concerned about their party affiliation than SCRIPTURE. As a Christian, I acknowledge that Trump isn’t exactly a devout Christian nor he may not even be one. However, I believe he respects my faith enough to protect it. Has anyone heard of “Cyrus the Great”?

Somewhere in the Bible it must read “You can’t always get what you want, sometimes you get what you need.” Also sometimes you have to take bitter medicine in order to heal. So rather then ignoring the illness of the times vote to Make America Great Again rather then not voting and letting America deteriorate.

It is good that you put Christian in quotation marks because they were anything but.

I don't think Trump has ever claimed to be a devout Christian and that he should be respected. I believe I have heard of Cyrus the great but will make a search to make sure (the name sounds Persian)

Yes I was correct he was Persian

Cyrus the Great

Instead if trying the age old, often used, and rarely successful meme of “not the other guy”. Try getting people to vote FOR your candidate instead of against the other guy.

Trump is not my guy, the GOP is not my party. I will vote for my part’s candidate, you vote for yours. If you want me to change my vote, then offer a reason to reconsider why I have already rejected your candidate.
