Trump 41% Clinton 42% Rasmussen

This poll is gonna be updated from here on out daily at 830a. Last week same poll had Trump up by 5. These are the first post debate #'s. Since its been up since 830a I'm surprised to be first to post this today. Trump has to stick to his Vision during debate, and not try to get caught up in her stupid data bombs. His vision on immigration, economics, and everything else is so much letter and he needs to stay focused on conveying such, and bring up her scandals at the same time.

This poll is not the same people so you really cannot say that minds were changed. You can do two separate samples and probably have Trump ahead or with a bigger number. USC/Dornslife is unchanged.

They had Romney up 1 point on election day and it wasn’t even close.

I knew today would be a bad day for polling, and tomorrow will probably be the same. The subject needs to be changed from the debate/Machado/Cuba.

As for the debate, one way to change the subject is to stop with the “cheating” or “signaling” stuff. The message should have been Trump did fine.

MSM likes to portray a virtual tie as some sort of huge victory for Hillary.

She diidn’t advance significantly with a grossly D+ oversampled poll.

That’s already a major defeat for her. A 1 point lead is the best they can do for her? She has lost in reality.

Hillary is done.

Rasmussen was sold in 2013 to some lib Manhattan group.

Scott Rasmussen has nothing to do with this product.

Pollsters have to eat, too. Keep it tight until November.

Trump 2016. It’s a given.

Trump 2016. It’s a given.

Two more mediocre debate performances by Trump, and it will be a given that Hillary will be elected. And don't say Trump can't crap the bed twice more. He will be on the defensive until election day. Better hope those events he appears at will win this election, but 99% of the media is going to do everything in their power, legal and illegal, to see that Trump is defeated.

Think we should acknowledge this race is close and whoever grabs bad headlines suffers. Kahn became wikileaks then health became Venezuela porn star. I still believe in #tsunami but it hasn’t happened yet.

The next time a “moderator” steps in to “fact-check”, or argue with Trump; he should invite him or her up to the dais, to join Clinton on her podium. Trump can offer to debate both of them as a team — provided they share Clinton’s time allotment.

These polls only reflect each candidates base of support; women and minorities for Clinton and white folks for Trump.

He HAD to take the High Road (more or less) first time out.

McCain and Romney took the high road. How did that work out for them?

I was really disappointed with Trump's performance. He said he "held back". Sorry but that is utter BS. The opportunity was there to destroy her and he did not. He played not to lose and thus Hillary has been given new life.

Whoever told him to take it easy should be fired. He was on defense more times than he should have. I would love to know what, if any, prep work was done prior to the debate. It almost looked like he was winging it. I am shocked to hear him say the debate was rigged. He should have known Lester Holt would be helping Hillary. Is he that naive? He did not know beforehand?

And for those who will point out all the post-debate polls about Trump winning the debate, that is BS as well. How many times have we seen threads here titled "FREEP that poll!"?

Trump needs to get his ass in gear. There is too much at stake.

Eighty percent (80%) say they are sure which candidate they will vote for, and among these voters, Clinton and Trump are tied with 48% support each. Among voters who say they could still change their minds, it’s Clinton 34%, Trump 33%, Johnson 25% and Stein 8%.

20% could change their mind and are saying they are evenly divided in an atmosphere where people are being attacked for being openly for Trump....

Hillary = Toast

Oh, good grief. His performance was as always, just fine.

I thought Trump did well. He looked and acted dignified. Hillary looked, according to some, like a tomato or Mrs. Santa. He talked naturally, like person. She had an artificial way of talking. Like she had memorized the reply or was fed the answers.

“20% could change their mind and are saying they are evenly divided in an atmosphere where people are being attacked for being openly for Trump...”

I have a feeling that the Silent Majority is going to ROAR this time around.

NO ONE that lives in a blue area and is Conservative, makes their choice known to the public for fear of retribution; the LefTards are KNOWN for their beat-downs, whether it be the keying of your car, yard signs stolen, or your house sprayed with paint.

With a Trump WIN all of that COULD change. Everyday people are SO TIRED of their collective voice being snuffed out.

Yep, the left may be as rabid and hateful as they like, but they aren't allowed to look over your shoulder as you vote.

“Sorry but that is utter BS.”

Well, you can butter your morning toast with that, LOL!

I still think you’ll see a ‘Take No Prisoners’ Trump in the next two debates.

But, that’s just me. *SHRUG*
