Trump 41% Clinton 42% Rasmussen
rasmussen | 9/29/16 | from rasmussen

This poll is gonna be updated from here on out daily at 830a. Last week same poll had Trump up by 5. These are the first post debate #'s. Since its been up since 830a I'm surprised to be first to post this today. Trump has to stick to his Vision during debate, and not try to get caught up in her stupid data bombs. His vision on immigration, economics, and everything else is so much letter and he needs to stay focused on conveying such, and bring up her scandals at the same time.

I’ve seen it already. The polls are a mixed bag. I expect this to swing back the other way after the VP debate on 10/4.

To whom it may concern, please note that Scott Rasmussen sold Rasmussen Reports, including the name, years ago.

Who briefed Trump.... who missed telling him to hone in on benghazi, hill’s lies, and her emails... then go to bill’s women... Where was Trump’s winning streak that night? He totally let too many opportunities slip by him. She was lying one after another... he didn’t even challenge her on all those lies.. he let them have at him... Surely Trump knows they are not going to play fair... surely he doesn’t trust them.. He was too eager to be pleasant after the first half hour... that much they did get him to practice. But was Trump waiting on them to ask about her emails? benghazi? the Clinton foundation money?

It was too much like romney when he let it all slip by him in the debate. For those who vote early, the next debate is too far away and this was a missed opportunity.

This is the first time I have criticized Trump on FR... I was just disappointed and thought he’d do what he had to do. He didn’t.

TrashMussen hasn’t been reliable for several years now.

“This is the first time I have criticized Trump on FR; I was just disappointed and thought he’d do what he had to do. He didn’t.”

Nope. He HAD to take the High Road (more or less) first time out. The Enemy Media was waiting for him to be really ‘mean’ to Hillary or prove to the world that he’s a nutcase, and he wasn’t/isn’t. He was debating Hillary!, Lester Holt AND the Enemy Media in general. I think he did just fine.

Second debate? Gloves come off a bit more...after spending this week bringing up her past & her historical record of FAILURE, CORRUPTION and ENABLING her rapist husband.

Third debate? He moves in for the kill, as it’s too close to Election Day for her to do much about it. Gloves come off, knockout blow delivered.

I like that, ‘strategery.’ ;)

I believe it and the situation is dynamic but not very widespread as the snap polls suggest. I think it will change again after the VP debate.

It totally depends on the internals of the poll, and since Rasmussen’s are only available to premium members, who knows how reliable it is.

Hillary can't get her base to vote for her.

She is really about 10pts behind.

No, she's not. She may be behind, but nowhere near 10 pts behind.

At this point Trump can stay the course. Continue to campaign aggressively in battleground states, run hard-hitting ads in battleground states, and mercilessly attack her in the upcoming debates. It’s his to lose.
