The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

For the record since nobody’s gonna read this in such a yuge thread: it was fully expected to hear everyone in the media blowing Hillary, but I sure hate to read so many goddam negative comments from freepers who can go f**k themselves as favor as I’m concerned.

Spot on. Trump is the everyman on stage. She did sound very slick. It may work against her some. But we can't count on that.

Yes he left a lot on the table. Instead he used a lot of his time to repeat the same things over and over again. Such as on Japan. He did make some good points and got a few digs in, but over all I am disappointed because I really wanted him to have a knockout blow against Hillary in the debate tonight. If Hillary gets in then we are truly in the end game for America. There will not even be a way back.
Seemed to me he had the sniffles a bit. My nose does that, too, sometimes.

Looking at it through a political junkie’s eye, it’s easy to see the missed opportunities, and gaffes. But trying to look at it from the casual viewer perspective, he came across as passionate and knowledgeable of the intricacies of the way government and politicians have failed.
If I had to hire someone to work for me, it would be a no-brainer; Trump would be the much better employee.
Great point. Advantage Trump. I will say this, they doctored her up well tonight. Looks, no carpet overcoat, hair and makeup well styled. She sounded solid, no coughing. But, as knowledgeable as she attempted to sound, Trump destroyed her with her record. And this is a change election. Trump is so wildly popular (ie rallies), because people are done with politicians. She is the epitome of a political family.
End result, no change in poll movement or slightly Trump as the words of his defense regarding her failures set in. So, If you like Hillary you are voting for her, and vice versa. What will happen is that the media will skewer Trump and pile on. Might even see more D+10 polling to show her as the comeback kid. Still think Trump wins in Nov. Big.

I couldn’t agree more. Setup all the way.. Hillary got lots more time, first answer all but once, several questions were totally useless, especially the thing about the presidential look...
