When I saw that she had gone back to Obama’s birth certificate as a burning topic for the 2016 presidential election, I knew she had a dry well.

Don’t forget the “surrogates” pretending that he “raped” his own wife. That came and went by the next day.
They will use people like Harry Reid who can and will just make up things without fear of being sued (due to the Constitution).

When she’s in this kind of mode, it is hard to be on the attack when it seems she should be on a respirator.

The press, which is an arm of the Hillary campaign, will never run out of material. It can continue to fabricate issues out of pretext, false insinuation and speculation. See too, the Dan Rather gambit, and the ever-useful “sources say.”

As far as I can see the traditional playbook of “them republicans are only for the rich, are racists and want to impose their morality on everyone else” is falling flat. And that explains why there is no way to “fight back against Trump.” Maybe that playbook is just old and tired. Or maybe it isn’t working because Trump isn’t some meek wussbag like republicans normally put up. Either way, imo the problem is the democrat playbook isn’t working.
Hillary can actually try to debate your ideas and ideals are superior to Trump’s. But LOL she just doesn’t do it. She just appeals to be baser instincts in people and hope their are enough ignorant voters to sway to her side. It’s pathetic to watch. From my vantage point, she just doesn’t have the ability to try to honestly debate issues and effectively persuade many voters. If she did, she’d be doing it.
The problem is perception. Trump is a political outsider and Hillary is a corrupt political hack who’s become rich as an insider. Hillary is a sick old woman. That’s what people are thinking. It’s ironic that in 1992 Bubba was able to portray himself as a DC outsider and was successful in labeling Old Man Bush an establishment DC figure. Now 24 years later Hillary is the establishment figure being rejected. Karma is sweet, isn’t it?
