On Thursday night, Donald Trump finally acknowledged an obvious, proven fact: President Obama was born in the United States. Or, rather, Trump's campaign said that he acknowledged it, in a statement that was itself riddled with falsehoods.
"Hillary Clinton’s campaign first raised this issue to smear then-candidate Barack Obama in her very nasty, failed 2008 campaign for President," the statement begins. That's untrue — and it's been fact-checked any number of times. In 2011, Politico outlined the origins; in May, our fact checkers dubbed it ridiculous.
"This type of vicious and conniving behavior is straight from the Clinton Playbook. As usual, however, Hillary Clinton was too weak to get an answer," the statement continues. Again, Clinton wasn't looking for an "answer" to the non-question of where Barack Obama was born because her campaign wasn't pressing the issue. Even before the release of Obama's long-form birth certificate, an announcement of Obama's birth was found in a Honolulu newspaper. His 2008 campaign had released a statement of live birth demonstrating where he was born. Anyone who asked the question for whatever reason had the answer in front of them, if they chose to see it.
"Even the MSNBC show 'Morning Joe' admits that it was Clinton’s henchmen who first raised this issue, not Donald J. Trump," the statement goes on. Whether or not someone on "Morning Joe" said it — a show, we will note, that has spent an awful lot of time of late disparaging Trump — that doesn't make it true.

A blatant lie. Earlier today I checked to find the origin of the birther rumor, and multiple articles planted the blame squarely on HRC supporters during her 2008 failed campaign. Multiple articles from multiple sources, and all were what I would call Liberal sources.
Barack was born in Hawaii, but the cover up is that his real daddy is Frank Marshall Davis. That’s why the BCs are problematic. Real BCs with the papa altered.
The instant I saw it was WAPO, I knew to be prepared for a complete barf fest.
I didn’t realize Obama was running again if he is will he show us his layered photo-shopped BC?

They must have really had to work hard to get that out.
My tinfoil hat conspiracy theory is that the birther stories are true, that Obama or his minions got to Trump and informed him in words of one syllable or less that if he didn’t back off he was going down for a dirt nap, and did it in a way that made Trump realize they were deadly serious.
Therein lies the roots of Trump’s presidential ambitions. His thinking goes like this. Obama is the President, NOW. He controls all those nifty secret things NOW. He can take me out if I keep this up.... BUT...
If I become President, I will have all those nifty secret things and I will be immune to his threats. That means, post election, I CAN STOMP HIM LIKE A COCKROACH.
Now, if you will excuse me, the tinfoil is getting a bit thin over my left frontal lobe, so I am going to add another layer....
After Hussein gets out of the white mosque, the MSM vultures will swoop down on his life’s history and will come up with much unexpected information.
