All based on a total lie with “hands up, don’t shoot” narrative BS with the martyr thug Michael Brown. Watch this spread to MLB.

Roger Goodell could stop this, but he is a puppet. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar entity that is rotten to the core.

Ultimately, I blame Obama for spreading this racial discourse and fanning the flames of violence. May he rot in hell for what he has purposely done to our country.

And distracting American men so much from so many things that need their real attention and participation, from family to community to nation. Most guys can tell you their teams’ stats and player names and positions, but the names of their kids’ teachers or principal or bus driver, county super, state rep’s, US rep’s...blank stares or frowns. Try asking a guy watching a game sometime; you probably won’t make a friend. Sports - American man’s great distraction.

Flame away...

Agreed, even on here many say this is wrong and yet they watch the NFL which doe nothing to stop this crap.

They take a stand , now it means I take a stand and not a penny or adding to the viewership goes to the NFL.

That was the first MNF game we ever missed…and we didn’t miss it! Watching NFL football is not a hard habit to break. We would miss college ball, so I hope they don’t screw that up. Make all players who can’t stand for the opening ceremonies should stay in the locker room until they are over and make every body happy.

Too many people on the right are STILL gladly going to these games,

Same people who continue to shop at that large retail chain that prohibits the Salvation Army from collecting at Christmas but allows men in womens’ restrooms. You know the one. .

I will say this, from ABC News:

LANDOVER, Md. - Every member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Washington Redskins stood for Monday night’s National Anthem in Landover, MD.

They took their stand one step further and held the giant American flag alongside members of the United States military during the singing of the National Anthem at FedEx field.

Redskins coach, Jay Gruden weighed in on the situation before the game and said his team would “stand up and give respect.”

Steelers coach, Mike Tomlin explained how his team wanted to honor their teammate, Alejandro Villanueva, former U.S. Army Ranger that received the Bronze Star for serving three tours in Afghanistan. He said “I know all of our players will be standing out of respect for their teammate, Alejandro Villanueva.”

The teams standing side by side, holding the red, white and blue went viral on social media as 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick continues to make headlines for his ongoing protests.

That’s right, the pre-season is almost over and the mighty Pens open the season on October 13th against the Caps!

When I see stands empty out for these games and the NFL losing billions in revenue, then I will care

That may be more of a long term situation. I'd think there will be an impact at elementary and high school levels. Parents were already concerned about concussions and other injuries. Now they have to be concerned about enabled black thugs bringing their agenda to high school games. It's another reason not to let their sons play football.

I’m with ya on the Packers, but UW? UW is one of the most liberal schools in the country, so don’t be too surprised.

I’ve loved the NFL since our locals began competing after decades in the jungle, BUT......... F ‘em. I’ll enjoy college football until the NCAA drives me away. Actually, the NCAA doesn’t have much to do with college football. They took another step toward irrelevancy yesterday, so maybe I’ll get my football fix there.

It’s spreading to many teams, they are no longer just taking a knee, but doing Black Power FIST raising.

This is a really easy annoyance to deal with. Simply IGNORE the NFL, turn off the TV, find some more rewarding way to spend your time. A serious decline in the number of viewers, and the advertisers and networks will rectify this foolishness in short order. What’s the old saying? Money talks and BS walks!

We’re paying for our kid’s education, while the government uses our tax money to pay for everyone else. Many of us also donate to the UNCF, the “Evil Koch Brothers” for example:

I believe that the politicizing of the NFL is a sign that it has jumped the shark. When you insult a large portion of your customers, you begin to lose them. I would not go to my favorite grocery store or restaurant if I knew I would be confronted with political statements with which I did not agree.

Not unless you flame them with threats of boycotting.

Some are hard to flame as they are so much a part of our lives like Cell Phone companies or Bud or FedX.
