A pardon doesn't affect impeachment. Hillary could still be impeached for crime, even if she were pardoned from formal legal action. The conviction in the Senate doesn't require a legal conviction, either before or after the Senate acts.
I just had a thought. If Hillary were elected, impeached, tried, convicted, and removed by the Senate, could she then claim immunity from legal action because it would be impossible to seat an impartial jury after the notoriety of the impeachment trial? I'm sure it would be attempted but could it have any grounds?
Precedent: Ford pardoning Nixon.

It will be to “allow the country to get back to business,” doncha know.
Ford pardoned Nixon who was never indicted.
If not, the implications of investigations would be devastating to HIM and everyone associated.
EITHER
Hillary wins and covers everybody
OR
Zero pardons everybody, to prevent any investigations.
U assume that Obama, who reportedly hates her guts, will give her a pardon????
Even Articles of Impeachment in the House would take many months for Obama and there is no will in the GOP house to do that. If she wins, she will immediately pardon herself. There will never be any impeachment convicton of any Democrat because the GOP will not have a 2/3 majority in the Senate.
Zero will have to pardon his entire cabinet, in order to prevent deep investigations. Investigations that could turn back to him.
Quite honestly, the way I see it, there is ONLY ONE WAY to protect themselves from any criminal investigations.
Hillary has to win.
And that will be done one of two ways.
Either outright voter fraud.
Or Trump is taken out of the picture right before the election, so that there would be no fallback for the repubs.
Also, WITHOUT Trump, the republican powers that be can once again fall into line and play nice with the democrats.
In other words "you don't start none and I won't start none"
She will accept the pardon at the same ceremony where she accepts his nomination to the Supreme Court.
Well, I guess that depends on what the meaning of “will” is!
Do you mean will, as in a future intent? Then a no simply means she did not intend to at the time she made the statement.
Do you mean will, as in a present desire? Then a no means, again, that she had no desire at the time of her statement.
Do you mean will, as in something definite? Then a no is still not binding.
Anyway, no matter what she answered, her sycophants won’t care. She is the second coming of Obama, just old, white and cankled.
A President can only pardon federal crimes, not state crimes.
The Clinton Foundation is open to investigation and a presidential pardon will not protect the Clintons.
Also, it will not protect the Clintons from any civil action.
So I really do not think she will get a pardon, it would open up too many closet doors.
But, she has not been charged, so how can she be pardoned??
January 19 will be PARDONMAGEDDON.
ANY Democrat with even the smallest skeleton in his or her closet will be getting a pardon.
Obama will be recovering from writers cramp until May.
