Where Do Criminals Get Their Guns?

Another fallacy that is disabused in this survey (which states it follows in a long line of other surveys) is that more background checks will change anything in terms of how criminals get guns. Since they typically do not walk into an FFL making background checks more demanding, is not going to decrease the use of guns in crimes. For ordinary citizens, they must and do comply with the gun laws no matter how they acquire their guns.

As I stated previously, it appears to me the anti-gun people are creating laws to restrict the activities of law-abiding citizens. That is because to stop the activities of criminals would be real work as opposed to law-abiding citizens who they can oppress with new laws because by definition they “follow the law.”

This survey almost completely validates that nearly all of the proposals coming from anti-gun people will do little to stop the criminals.

Liberals and their media whores don’t care about the truth - they care what furthers their cause.

They are NOT nice people.

They are not honest either.

Criminals are not ‘buying’ guns - they STEAL guns or ‘buy’ from fellow criminals who steal them...

No, in a locked metal case. They blew the locks off with a shotgun. It was actually because I sent my husband to buy a safe for us that we got the first tip that caught the burglars.

In the best of all worlds everyone would have safes but even for us there was never money for 1000s on a safe or even have a place to put one.

Liberals have no intention of taking guns from violent criminals but they want to take them from non-violent citizens.

In the best of all worlds one would find where they live, then break any ten bones in their bodies and beat them to within one inch of their miserable lives, so burglary never crosses their minds again.

NO $HIT! “It appears?” This isn’t about keeping guns out of the hands of criminals, it’s always been about finding any way they can to stunt the Second Amendment. this guy is a mensa!

I always felt like if you have guns or dogs that burglars would leave you alone. Sadly I was wrong.

You really have no clue here.

With the right big dogs who alert, they discourage burglaries nearly 100% of the time. My dogs would hear you coming 50 yards away. You'd never get into the house without them alerting them and extreme loud barking and snarling would follow. And it's really obvious when they go to their threat level alert bark. It's really distinct that they mean business. It would be suicide on your part to continue.

Fact is you never approach the compound due to the obvious threat level that you would clearly hear and be subjected to.

If one wants to avoid burglaries, get a big intelligent dog, like a German Shepherd or maybe two.

I have 3 dogs a big one a middle sized one and a little one. The little one weighs 15 pounds and is totally blind. He hears every sound long before the others or even I hear it. He barks and alerts the family. I doubt if they would stop someone who really wanted to break in. If we were at home the burglars wouldnt get far.

Rule#1, the key here is: With the right big dogs who alert, they discourage burglaries nearly 100% of the time.

As always, use the right tool for the job.☺

Gun safes advertise to potential thieves (handymen, housekeepers, etc) that you own guns.
Google “hidden gun furniture”. Lots of great links. Buy direct or get DIY plans.

You don't believe my story about my neighbors? It is absolutely true. The house on the other side of the neighbors was being remodeled, the burglars climbed the fence broke branches in doing it, picked up bricks from the patio, broke the window, slammed a door on the dogs, ransacked the room and escaped across my back yard. They were spotted 3 houses down the street getting into a car and speeding away.

Let see, the big dogs were in the house right? And the burglars were snapping branches outside to get to the house and then used bricks to shatter windows? LOL!

And the GD dogs were not waiting on the other side of the window for chow? How in tarnation did that bad guys do all that and not have the dogs waiting to eat him upon entry?

The dogs were clawing at the den Windows apparently one of the guys went to the master bedroom window and with the brick they broke it while the other guy kept the dogs occupied. These dogs are massive but not terribly smart.
