Yep, absolutely. I’m old enough to remember that whole Watergate thing in fine detail. The propagandists were relentless, every-single-day, and it went on ALL the way till around the mid 1980s, constant constant constant constant slamming of Republicans over something akin to a College prank. Actually it is still going on because I read an article a few weeks ago still bashing Nixon over Watergate. Meanwhile compared to the Clintons, Watergate was amateur hour, a mere days play. Nixon was a guy who wanted to win Vietnam, and these vermin prevented that, and as a result 2 million people lost their lives.
Collapsing?
Um, no.
It collapsed many years - decades - ago.
They turned to presstition.

The New York Times is owned by Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, so anything the Slimes has to say about immigration can automatically be dismissed.
Not only is the ‘news’ biased, it is poorly written by first graders who have lost their erasers and have never met an editor.
They have been propagandists for 50 years at least.
When they controlled nearly all the flow of information, they could be lest obvious. They have traded credibility for the ability to throw elections.
Now they have little credibility left.
It has never been driven by economics.
It has always been driven by the “progressive” agenda, the desire for power.
There are numerous instances where the old media has passed obtaining more money because the money did not fit their agenda.
For example, the old media refused to sell ads to the NRA for 40 years, at least.
They’re not the press; they’re Bolsheviks with pencils behind their ears.
Better late than never for this author, although we’ve known it’s been going on for decades if not longer. Just makes one wonder how our free press over time embraced tyranny.
They free press have the Constitution to protect them from a tyrannical government but yet, they ignore much of our Constitution and have become in partnership with a corrupt leftist government.
They have a Constitutional duty to help protect the American people from a tyrannical government but yet, they’ve joined in over time, to help the whole corrupt system towards that goal.
You propagandists that call yourselves part of our free press, that read here, needs to understand how you’ve failed your duty and thus failed the American people. Your whole leftist agenda has failed us all in more ways than one. It’s a shame with what you’ve been blessed with, guaranteed by our Constitution, and you have abused it to become part of the corrupt system.

Not quickly enough in my opinion...
How about some deep conservative pockets buying a journalism school or 6 and turning them into conservative journalism factories? Sure the most recent generations of journalists have made a sewer of the swimming pool, but it nothing some well placed billions can’t cure.
