A Hillary Clinton Loss Would Hobble Gun Reform, Says Connecticut Senator

Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy does not shy away from the fact that guns on are on the national ballot this November.

“If Donald Trump wins, it will be a pretty dramatic setback,” says Murphy, who has emerged as the Democratic Party’s most vocal champion of new gun regulation. “Not just because how terrible he’ll be on the issue, but the fact that a presidential candidate who ran asking for a mandate on guns lost.”

For Murphy, the fight is personal. He had just been elected to the Senate in 2012 when word arrived that there had been an incident at an elementary school in his House district. The Senator-elect watched in horror as Newtown, Conn., became the site of the deadliest mass school shooting in U.S. history.

Geez. He says that like it's a bad thing. Dumbass! I did get a response from dead eye hairy screed the other day. It stated that "they" had noted my objection to new "gun 'safety' legislation". In an indirect way I suppose I was being chastised because I want children to be killed by unsafe weapons(?). At least that's kinda how it read to me. Luckily hairy will be gone soon. Not soon enough though. He'll still rally the union thugs in vegas to make sure NV goes to hildabama.

President Trump's victory will usher in a new and powerful wave of Americanism.

More powerful than a locomotive ... able to leap tall buildings in a single bound ....

WE .. the people .. will BE the government and I believe President Trump will have enough of a handle on "his people" that he will keep us from going off a deep end.

The goal is to pass federal concealed carry and prohibit states from passing laws limiting magazine counts and types of semi-automatic long guns. Trump will get national laws to over-ride and “trump” state laws so kiss your CT unconstitutional gun laws goodbye nazi-boy.

“A Hillary Clinton Loss Would Hobble Gun Reform”

What’s the problem with “hobbling” more restrictive laws?

And now they are calling restrictions “reforms”?

Well, why not? After all, who could possibly be against “reforms”? /s

My thoughts on where Murphy can go and how to get there can’t be posted due to the code of conduct.

...fact that a presidential candidate who ran asking for a mandate on guns lost.”

Democrats intentionally permit gun crime to propagate, because it augments their case that gun crime is out of control. They appreciate the opportunity violent crime has to enhance their ulterior motive of banning guns. What are a few hundred deaths of impoverished minorities compared to the leverage those deaths are worth toward their end? His big worry here is that if a candidate loses that opportunity and a crackdown ensues, it will work - invalidating their argument among those who pay the dearest of costs.

To Communist Chris Murphy: the destruction of gun control is on of the reasons to defeat Crooked Hillary.

Yes ... and when socialists in South America used to talk about "land reform" it meant theft.
