Manufacturing a Trump loss
Washington Times ^ | Aug 17, 2016 | Tammy Bruce

No doubt you have noticed the unified messaging strategy between the Democrats and the Legacy Media, wherein GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump has already lost the election. It’s an amazing revelation that in mid-August one of the candidates has already been declared a losing loser of — what is it now — 49 of the 50 states?

You see it every day on the broadcast news and with any basic Google or Twitter search. The New York Times: “The State of Clinton-Trump Race: Is It Over?” Huffington Post: “GOP Operatives Aren’t Sure Trump Wants to Win.” Politico: “GOP Insiders Aren’t Sure Trump Wants to Win.” And even The Wall Street Journal editorial board suggests Mr. Trump should hand his nomination over to Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

Check out the polls at http://abcnewsgo.co at least as of yesterday Trump had 70+%, Hillary had a paltry 8 or so depending on which poll you look at.

FWIW, abcnewsgo.co is a fake site.

O’Reilly had Dana Perino on last night and she said its “wrong for Trump to say he is going to win.” Not he’s winning but that he can actually win.

Apparently with over 2 months to go and haven’t spent a dime yet on ads with 3 debates to come and down about 2-3 points in recent national polls, he has to tell supporters he’s going t lose.

These people are the enemy.

Caution to everyone commenting on the title of the article: It is meant to be ironic and the article itself aims to a different conclusion.

Agree. If Clinton was truly ahead, they’d let sleeping dogs lie. But they don’t.

They’re going to do everything they can to get Trump replaced by ANYBODY ELSE. Not going to happen.

Trump’s speech last night was GOLD. The MSM is focusing on the apology portion in an attempt to belittle it, but they’re making a mistake.

The Trump act of contrition, coupled with his genius move of aggressively going after every vote, regardless of ethnicity, is going to pay huge dividends with traditionally Democrat constituencies.

Also, his statement of regret over some of his speech is going to solidify the Christian vote. If he’s truly sorry, which he likely is, that is going to help tons. America still has a strong Christian streak; the concept of repentance and second chances is ingrained in our culture.

Christians are NOT going to stay home for Trump like they did for Romney - and the smart Dems know that.

Trump going to Louisiana today while Clinton and Obama stay away is going to be viewed when this election is history as a turning point. Even if both of them show up next week, the impact will be minimal if not outright negative for them. They are the ones who pilloried W over Katrina. A bigger Katrina is here and who shows up?

Trump - the guy who’s for Americans, not the elites.

Trump is actually winning big in the polls, however, they must keep this fiction up that Hillary is winning because due to all the voter fraud they are going to win, it’s all a lie, and there’s little we can do about it.

Dana Perino thought she would slide back in the saddle when Jeb! was handed the presidency. She was vicious toward Trump back then. She is still poisonous.

This is just the next #neverTrump meme. They’ve tried...

- Trump can’t win any Primary
- Trump can’t win in the South
- He can’t win over 30%
_ 40%
- 50%
- He can’t win 1,237 delegates
- He has no ground game to win delegates
- The rules committee will change the rules
- Can’t win the vote of the actual delegates

Dana spends too much “quality” time with Jasper. I hope he is fixed.

I think the strategy of a given media outlet is to maintain and enlarge it’s audience. Their reporting and commentary must please that audience.

What would happen if NBC started promoting Trump. Many viewers would be bewildered and find another channel.

When Trump appears inevitable or it appears that a large chunk of, say, NBC’s audience is thinking favorably of Trump, the reporters will find ways of pleasing that chunk. Maybe I’m wrong here.

Very true. We will not even know about it until they download the electronic voting machines. Where our role will come in is not allowing the fraud to stand. We will have one of two choices to make: 1. Do what we must to not allow this fraud to stand. We will be on our own. The legal system will not help us. We no longer live in a Nation where that Nation's laws apply equally to everyone. Hillary Clinton amply demonstrated that fact. Leavenworth is full of individuals that did less than what she did. And option [choice] 2. Go quietly and docilly into slavery and what she has planned for us.

Media cannot lead when the mob insists on going in the opposite direction.

I agree. This is the election they steal our country and laws mean nothing, if we allow it to happen. Fraud is going to be tremendous, I’m guessing upwards of 5 million votes for the democrats will be fraudulent. Some will be electronic, some will be done by real people, and it will be huge.

The lefties have adopted the false notion that if the say something enough times it will become true; something they learned from Obama's Alinskyte mobs.

It's time to kick them in the face and give them a dose of reality.

Once again, the onus is upon us. Do we allow them to get away with it, or do we fight? Our Lives, the life of our Republic, and the lives of our children and grand children hang in the balance.

As for me, and a number on this board, our lives are in their twilight. I myself am 75 years of age. Some are a few years older than me and some are a few years younger. Our children, grand children, and future grandchildren should have full lives ahead of them. Our Republic should have a longer life. There are some things such as freedom, such as our children and grandchildren getting to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Things such as not having to dread the knock of a Governmental Agent's midnight knock at one's door, etal. that are more precious than life. Our ancestors shed their blood in foreign lands for reason such and similar to these. Why cannot we, if necessary, do the same over here? The Left is determined to have their way. We should be just as determined that they will not get their way. I believe we have someone to lead us in Donald Trump.

I'm not sure what to believe, but a couple of days ago I saw some dems and RINOs were calling for Trump to drop out of the race. You have to ask yourself -

If Madam Hillary the Liar Benghazi is winning by such a wide margin, why would she want Trump to drop out?
