There are no undecided. Everyone knows whom they will vote for. It is already decided.

He just needs to be a bit more circumspect in things that he says

The best way I can think of to explain that to Mr. Trump is that America is not New York.

New York is a vital and unique piece of America. But it is not Peoria. It's not Huntsville. It's not Bakersfield and it's not Waco. The sort of in-your-face brashness that plays well in New York does not have fans in every part of this country. One of those little nuances you have to master if your intention is to govern it.

likely very many.

I read a story today of a lawyer’s meeting of a hundred or so who took a presidential poll.

53 Hillary

41 Trump

The had another poll when the meeting ended, but this time in secret poll.

It flipped around.

Trump 53’ish

Hillary 41’ish

The story may have came from Lou Dobbs Fox Business News anchor.

I thought everyone here hated John Zogby?

When it comes to polls --

When We Like The Results = credible
When We Do Not Like The Results = garbage

But, really, polls measuring across the electorate are next to useless. What is needed is more polling limited to swing states. Of course, voter turnout will also be key.

Regarding the electoral vote, Trump needs to win certain states.

He’s got to win Florida, as you mention. Add in Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Iowa, Nevada, and New Hampshire, and he’s got it.

Plus he’s got to hold all the states Romney won four years ago.

But everything has to fall into place as we go state by state. HIllary has more paths to victory than Trump does.

Trump is doing just fine. He is doing an outstanding job when you think about who his enemies are. I trust the man to seal the deal and will not throw him under the bus every time something negative happens. All the negatives are manufactured anyway.

I’m not surrendering. That isn’t the point.

On RCP, these are the toss up states: part of Maine, Nevada, Arizona, Iowa, Ohio, N Carolina, Michigan, Missouri, Georgia.

The blue states have given Hillary 256 electors. Trump has 154.

In order to win, Trump needs every single battleground state except that one elector in northern Maine. Is it possible? Sure, but it has to happen. I’m not confident. The oligarchy knows how to rule people and destroy people with those media mongrels. They are doing a damn good job. Trump has been vilified.

If you are not confident then you should not be in the game. Make room for those who are confident and simple step aside.

Someone should ask the liberal MSM talking heads to explain the poll numbers as they are being reported as to why there are thousands of people turning out at Trump rallies and the hag having to hire enough people to make a crowd to show up at her rallies.

By October it will appear as if Trump is running unopposed and the word landslide will be the word most used to describe his candidacy!

Probably true but I don't expect the MSM to fess up to it. Likely they will be pushing the "horse race" narrative to the bitter end.

I was in Fairfield, CT Saturday night for the Trump rally. Connecticut! Place was packed and the temperatures inside exceeded 110 degrees. People passing out all around me and being taken to ambulances.

This doesn't just happen. There's something happening here.

This thread has Hillary only up 2 and your only comments are to mock FReepers and bring up other polls more favorable to Hillary. So yeah you suck

Oh brother. It is important to PLAN FOR THE WORST and then be delighted at the best.

I was disgusted after the last presidential election because people who weren’t sure Romney could do it were slammed as idiots. Don’t underestimate the enemy. This is no walk through the park for Trump, even without all the voter fraud that will occur.

We need to fight, not rah rah.

"...how many people are going to secretly vote for Trump, but will never admit it in public or to a pollster...?

I've been seeing this for the past couple of months and find it laughable.

Why would ANYONE give a chit what a "pollster" thought of them?

Maybe this makes these whores feel important but I , for the life of me, can't understand why anyone would be even slightly concerned about what these polling clowns or their brethren in the MSM think.

If the debates come off I think we’ll see one. Clinton can’t stand up for longer than 10 minutes at a time.

It is amazing how every “bad” Trump poll is “tabulated poorly”, “slanted/oversampling to Dems”, or “dismissed as outright lies”, but whenever there’s a poll favoring Trump, it’s just accepted on its face.

Online polls? Like the ones we always Freep? Please...

Polls won’t mean much until after the debates begin.
