Yes, but if you perseverate on the downside it gives your enemy an advantage they should’t have. Also, polling helps to create and push narratives, not just report trends. Demoralization is a very, very strong tool.

I think you are going to see a “spike” in the white voter turn out. A lot of rural & working class whites who have given up on voting because “They’re all the same!” will turn out. They finally see someone running who is concerned about their lives & interest. (I hope its not a false hope!)

So black vote more at historic levels, with white vote spiking (Which Rats will claim is due to racism!) that says to me if my analysis is correct some electoral surprises.

Trump got a big 2 week bounce around the convention.

Hillary got a small 2 week bounce after her convention.

Both are gone now, and the race is right back to where it was before the conventions.

It’s wise to “consider the source”, as the saying goes. It’s common knowledge that the media is trying to take down Trump anyway it can, including skewing polls.
As it gets closer to election day, some of them might not want to be a laughing stock and skew things the other way, then pronounce it as an “unexpected” swing.

Though Zogby isn’t alone on this take - in a surprise, the latest LA Times polling only has Clinton up by 1 point.

Trump isn’t stupid, he knows the Feds are corrupt, so he got the Elliot Ness of the modern era: Preet Bharara involved. I absolutely guarantee you 100% an indictment will be handed down in the coming month and she knows this which is why she is freakin out. To me that’s exactly why Trump is running, he is sick to death like everyone else is of the corruption, and my God, I had no idea it was that deep and wide but already he has exposed it just by campaigning hasn’t he. I really think what happened was once he found out the Justice dept and FBI were corrupted as well, he went to plan B which is he probably had a meeting with Preet Bharara who is a really stand up guy, and made him see the absolute danger this country is in if Hillary wins, so he agreed to investigate her and once he finds the evidence, she is doomed.

Grammar police says: subjunctive use of 'were' is incorrect. Correct: What is the terrorist in the White House doing?

If all traitors in Congress had to face justice, how would we have a quorum? If that were extended to the cabinet, what would we do when all of them are identified as traitors? Would quickly run through the presidential succession list.

National Polls are entirely meaningless because:

A) in a country of 310+ million, polling 1,300 or so is a stupidly small sample

and

B) This completely ignores our electoral processes, much like the stupid Zogby poll that got everyone to love him (again).

The next time a Zogby poll doesn’t showing exactly what the members on this site want to see, whatever that is, it’ll go back to what it has been when Zogby is mentioned.
