Mike Pence ‘strongly’ endorses Paul Ryan, as Trump refuses to do the same

As Donald Trump holds off endorsing House Speaker Paul D. Ryan in Wisconsin's Republican primary, his running mate enthusiastically endorsed Ryan on Wednesday, calling him a “longtime friend” and “strong conservative leader.”

“I strongly support Paul Ryan, strongly endorse his reelection,” Indiana Gov. Mike Pence said during an interview on Fox News on Wednesday afternoon. “I believe we need Paul Ryan in leadership in the Congress of the United States to rebuild our military, to strengthen our economy and to ensure that we have the kind of leadership in this country that will make America great again.”

Trump has angered his party's leadership by refusing to endorse Ryan or Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in their primary campaigns. Both Ryan and McCain have endorsed Trump but have remained critical of many of his comments, including Trump's ongoing public feud with the parents of a Muslim American soldier killed in 2004. Wisconsin holds its primary Tuesday and the Arizona primary is later this month. In an interview with The Washington Post on Tuesday, Trump praised Ryan’s underdog opponent, Paul Nehlen.

Every deal Trump is forced into with guys like Pence, Ryan, etc, weakens what we are trying to elect him for.
Trump will be elected, and the GOP will manage to make him into another Bush, now in New York flavor.

Throwing Nehlen under the bus is despicable. I am giving Trump a pass because he is under a lot of pressure. But make no mistake this was not the right move. At all.

BOTH McCain and Ryan are up against conservatives in the primaries right now.

We will back the Republican candidate - once the people pick one.

Statements based on fear of what MIGHT happen.

I think Gingrich needs to relax. I may be the only one but I am happy how Trump handled the Ryan and McCain thing. Both of them jump at every chance to join thei “friends across the aisle” in skewering Trump so screw them. They are also both globalist a who hate the idea of Trump upsetting their luvrative uniparty racket. I do not think Trump is in trouble, the rats are and they know it. That is why they are acting as they are now.

So, in oher words, the Trump campaign is against Paul Ryan’s reelection before they were for him?

I’m thinking the Republican Congress needs to be more in tune with its voters.

This would include Mike Pence, the traitor to the TRUMP voters, as well as TRUMP.

Congress has absolutely no plans to cooperate with TRUMP, no one other than their open border globalist donors.

Until we the people of the Republican Party electorate force them to heel.

No quarter should be given, imho.

Is there any polling data coming out of Wisconsin? Do the cheese heads even do polls? What’s really happening there?

How is Nehlen doing?

Nope, just an observation of who is swarming around him. Manafort, Priebus, Pence is opn bordes, he is getting intel briefings from Hayden, Obama’s intel man.

It isn’t rocket science to see a swarm of sharks circling to know sharkbites are coming.
The Neocons and NWO know they cannot defeat him, so you tell me what the next step is? Co-opt him. They aren’t just going away. They did it to Reagan with a Bush veep, and it’ll happen again.

You're right. Gingrich would sit on a couch with Ryan in front of the US Capitol with Ryan and gush about how despite having different ideologies they can both agree that Ryan needs to be re-elected.

Not a clue about Wisconsin. That sure has been quiet. Makes me wonder if he’s in trouble.

Waukesha County has a very, very small southern strip in CD1 unless all the Cruzers vote for Ryno it really should not matter.

We are worlds apart. Globalist Establishment hacks usually don't last long around here. I see Trump has smoked out another one. Good luck to you.

Pence is a player. TRUMP was under pressure to pick an air ball that was no threat to the donor “glober” system.

Turns out he picked a *hair ball*.

Many months ago Trump said he’s be a great uniter. (Probably the GREATEST uniter.)

Meanwhile we’re approaching the eleventh hour and he seems not to be able to unite his own team much less make coalitions of support.

The idea that after the convention a nominee would need an “intervention” is insane.

Not nearly as “insane” as the highest elected Republican publicly fragging his parties nominee endlessly for months.

The GOPe don’t want to unite behind Trump. It’s that simple. Their actions show they prefer Hillary Rotten Criminal. How pathetic is that?
