"The behavior should, at the very least be shamed and pushed back into the closet. Not embraced."

My thoughts exactly.

I’ve been pummelled here for expressing doubt about Milo Yiannopolis.

You're right to express those doubts. I find him creepy and repulsive.

So people that are actually trying to help defeat the fricking left should be rejected?

I, for one, most certainly do. Are you implying we should welcome anti-Semites and neo-Nazis with open arms because they're against the Left???

Homosexuals fall in the same category.

I don’t think “conservatives” are fawning over gays.

You don't think a standing ovation at the NATIONAL RNC over the statement of being "proud to be gay" isn't fawning?

Amen. I have been flabbergasted that that Milo guy, the latest sodomite "hero" for the right (not conservatives) is lauded and fawned over. This is the guy who is present at a a sodomite party which includes decorations consisting of pictures of naked, or almost naked, young (as in juvenile) boys. Is the right this desperate? What next, if a high-profile pedophile agrees with us on the Second Amendment and lower taxes, will we embrace him because hey, we need those pedophile votes too? Let the left have them!

If they want the entire world to be united, then why not uinte them with a conseervative plateform. A platform that is not only surprisingly (to them) popular, but WORKS.

"New World Order" types don't want the world united together, they want the peons united under them. If we united together on the conservative platform, there'd be no place for "New World Order" types.

From Chaos, Order.

They can't control you if you have freedom and the means to protect it.

Why would any conservative support him?

Define "conservative". Seriously ... I no longer know what the term means. People call themselves (or are called by others) "conservatives" whom Bill Buckley would never have recognized as such.

As is, many who profess to be "conservatives" are in fact libertines and perverts who happen to agree more or less with free market economic ideas.

Conservatism is retreating on almost every front because they got fat and lazy and self-righteous.

Sitting at home in 2012. Ditching candidates on petty crap. Never following-up on defeating all of the gay marriage referendums in 2002. Turning the Tea Party into nothing but a toothless movement that just collected money for a few people. Leaving the internet to be taken over by the left, while depending on a ever-shrinking group of AM talk radio millionaires as a form of audio opium that made it seem like we were totally beating the left because they said so on the radio.

And dont get me started on the “NeverTrump” idiots
All the while the left actually worked for their goals, and kept winning! Now we are actively being censored on various platforms, and being attacked in the streets.

But we better not promote people that share more than enough of our positions to stay brave and keep on fighting against common foes.

The stupidity of the right to sabotage themselves never ceases to amaze me.

“He’s a disgusting little pervert. Why would any conservative support him? “

Because he does the job most conservatives are too lazy or cowardly to do.

I didn’t see Thiel as pushing a homosexual agenda at all. He clearly emphasized Americanism and derided issues like transgender bathrooms. This is not the first time that an open gay spoke at a convention and Thiel did not do it to showcase his homosexuality. I’ll never be proud of his lifestyle or support him because of it but I will stand with anyone who loves America enough to set aside their identity politics for love of country and that is why he received a standing ovation not because he was gay.

George W Bush may have used the ssm issue to help win elections but while he did that he was betraying us appointing activist lgbt republicans to high positions in his administration. Just look at the list of who signed on to support the illegal ruling forcing ssm on all 50 states. Getting bent out of shape over one gay who cares more about the welfare of this country than all the hate and adversity he is going to face for speaking in favor of Trump is foolish giving that we at via the Bushes a homosexual elevated to be RNC chairman.

Agreed.I don’t think “conservatives” are fawning over gays.

They're certainly fawning over one "gay" in particular, and trying to appeal to the rest of them.

But what I think is wrong is trying to use Reagan as a prop for this argument. Reagan was a man of his generation and I’m inclined to think as this author, “Reagan was silent on same-sex marriage, as was everyone of his generation. He, like all liberals of his time, could not have conceived of same-sex marriage, and he, like the entirety of the Democratic Party just a decade or two ago, unwaveringly supported traditional marriage.”

So for that reason we're just going to remain silent and retreat as the world rots away all around us? Just how much stuff are we supposed to accept as the Marxist "iron laws of history" unfold? If conservatism isn't standing up to these "iron laws" and fighting ideas such as homosexual "marriage," then what in blazes is it? Is everything money and the economy to you?

Also, the whole "he was a man of his time" argument is used by the Left to excuse cultural moral degradation.

I don’t. Maybe think about this. Even in the face of overwhelming castigation by his own on the left he supports other than pure leftist principles. That alone is worthy of consideration and applause.

Oh yes I do have the “luxury”-I call it the duty-to reject making common cause with a man who attends functions decorated with paedo-erotica. I wouldn’t make common cause with Satan to defeat evil either. There’s a catch in that, and it’s the price of my soul.

Let’s put the blame where it belongs, on the left and the complicit media. Good Christians who are troubled by the public acceptance of homosexuality and immorality will vote for Trump. We have to it is a no brainer. It is also not accurate that all Christians sit on their bums. The left and the media are the people making a big deal about this man’s sexual choices, they are trying to get the christian conservatives to stay home. The reason why we have lost the “culture wars” is because conservatives allow the left to define the narrative, and many socially conservative people cower in fear of being labeled. For example look at the term “homophobe” it is a ridiculous slur meant to silence people who believe the gay life style is wrong. ( christians aren’t afraid of gays, lets be serious) Instead of calling out the people who define the terms we cower in fear of being labeled. What many people seem to lack isn’t the ability to follow the party line and vote for Trump, it’s the courage to stand up to the narrative of the left and until we can do that we will lose every time.

“I, for one, most certainly do”

Well then I fully expect you to find you doing what he does in minute now.

Are you? No? Too busy?

Ok, then. Sit there and feel morally superior and smug on your rear end and let this guy do what he is doing even for people that hate him for doing it.

I’m with you, 100% and also share your experience. So, if self-righteous Christian conservatives want to disavow homosexuals in the party, then they’ll also need to both judge then disavow every other unrepentant sinner as well as atheists, Jews, agnostics, and any other non-conforming New Testament un-scriptural man made denominations like Catholics and Mormons. Yeah, just shut the doors to the church and to the party.

I'm not a chrstian at all.

Since you identify morality as a chrstian monopoly, you obviously are.

Well I’m more interested in stopping this nation from turning into the hell SJWs are pushing it to be, so that my younger relatives can live in free country.

If Jesus kicks my ass for it, then so be it.

But wasn’t Reagan divorced and remarried? And didn’t that make him an adulterer according to Jesus? This is not intended as a knock on Reagan, it just seems we can be a bit hypocritical on things.
