Here’s a fact to chew on: Much of Day Two at the convention was spent trying to humanize Hillary Clinton. After 25 years in public life, she feels the need to tell us she cares.
A parade of speakers warmed up the crowd by telling stories about her compassion, some of it very long ago. Getting money for New Yorkers after 9/11, helping children get health insurance, securing health care for veterans.
This being a coronation, the circumstances grew in grandeur with each telling, until they made her sound like Mother Teresa. She’s so profoundly kind and tireless and honest and so full of grace, “she defies gravity.”
But wait, there’s more — she’s tough, too. Single-handedly, she practically made peace in the Mideast, forged progress on climate change, and forced Iran to the negotiating table.
If that superhuman doesn’t sound like the Hillary you know, or the world as you know it, well, Bill Clinton showed up to to swear it was all true, and then some.

She is going to lose. It’s not working. All the media cover and lies cannot cover up who she actually is. The truth is bubbling up a little bit more every day. They cannot hold back the eruption that will bury her.
He started about 25 years too late.
I did not detect LOVE in that speech. It was as if she was just a casual acquaintance and oh, so phony!
That fact that she needs to be “humanized” speaks to how out of touch she is.

The serial adulterer praises a wife whom he has dragged through the public like a sack of garbage for years. Any self-respecting woman would have divorced him and taken every dime he ever made as restitution for that humiliation, but Hillary loved power more than she loved herself and has ruthlessly run after it. She is a horrible role model for our daughters.
I remember in the 2008 primaries, the Hillary campaign had some commericials for “The HIllary I Know”, in which various people, such as her best friend from junior high school, talked about her, and tried to “humanize” her.
After a quarter century in public life, a time for which she has been a high level controversial political figure, I doubt that their efforts to soften her image will work.
On the one hand, we’re supposed to think that Hillary is so rough and tough, because being president is the toughest job in the world. But on the other hand, we’re supposed to think about how a young Bill Clinton met a young Hillary, and how how she has always worked behind the scenes to make people’s lives better, because of her compassion, her love of humanity and all that??? Really????
This old saw is perfect for Hillary:
“Her lair is full of bones.”
You couldn’t humanize that b!tch if you stuffed her with 50 pounds of “Snuggle.”
After 35+ years in public politics, NOW they want to humanize her? It is to laugh.

As First Bubba, and this time with NO responsibilities whatsoever! While Hilly’s in the Oval Office screwing America, Slick is in every other room just screwing away.

“She stuck by me while I was sexually assaulting a string of defenseless women and even helped me trash some of their reputations” is a winning message?
I agree. Hillary is a terrible role model for girls and women.
I would be very sad, if my own daughter had lived her life, the way Hillary Clinton has lived her life.
And, what has it gotten her, staying in a bad marriage/marriage of convenience? Political power? Is that the most important thing in life?
Face it, the only reason why Hillary is running for president is because of who she is married to.
Feminism tells us that women are supposed to achieve things on their own. How is Hillary any sort of role model? The first serious woman presidential candidate just happens to be married to a former president. How is that even historic or noteworthy?
Hillary has accomplished nothing on her own.
It sounds to me like Hillary sacrificed any happiness in her personal life, and sacrificed her self respect, just to have a shot at being president.
They have always “been so in love!” Here’s how they “relate” to each other:
“Come on Bill, put your d**k up! You can’t f**k her here!!”

Bill did not mention a young Hillary being enamored and influence by Saul Alinsky.
Bill did not mention her being fired from the legal staff of the Watergate committee.
Bill did not mention that Hillary flunked the D.C. bar exam.
Bill did not mention how Hillary did legal work for the Black Panthers.
Bill did not mention a lot of things.
