The owner of an Italian restaurant in New Mexico says hes seen a surge in business after posting a billboard that featured a food-centric pun playing off the Black Lives Matter slogan.
Rick Camuglia, owner of Paisanos in Albuquerque, posted what he thought would be a well-received joke on the marquee sign in front of his restaurant last week. It read:
"BLACK OLIVES MATTER TRY OUR TAPENADE."

My mother used them in bunch of things. Almost always salad.
Definitely in antipasto.
GOOD GOD in heaven that looks GREAT!!!!
I’ve got Italian coming out of my ears since I was 6. Love it but DYING to head south and try all new kinds of things!!!
This is about an hour and a half drive from Albuqerque.
That’s in America?!?! Looks beautiful.
My pop, who died when I was 15, was a GREAT guy but he wouldn’t have left 10 square block in Brooklyn his whole life if my mother didn’t make him move.
I’m afraid I am a little like that, but at 48, it’s certainly not too late.
That looks BEAUTIFUL!!
That’s the Valles Caldera, a huge extinct volcano cone. It was part of a land grant owned by the Baca family for many, many years. It was purchased a couple years back as a preserve. It is 10 miles on a side, near the Jemez Mountains.
It’s gorgeous. The south and mid west must be gorgeous.
I only see it from the sky on the way to Vegas.
Too old for that #### now.
Want to see the country.
Sangre de Christo?
More in the Jemez.
Oh man, does that look good! Now to see about supper!
Burger Boy in Cedar Crest... 1 location worldwide and worth the drive.
I love New Mexico. Stayed in Red River in a cabin for a week at 10k ft. Lots of elk and mulies running through. Read Atlas shrugged in 4 days looking up every now and again at The Bull of the Woods mtn.
Beautiful! And the food in Albuquerque is our favorite.
That looks so delicious! We haven’t been in those parts in at least 10 years.. Around the time we found the Heart Attack Grill in Arizona.
You sound like a Texan visitor that has his mind right. ;)
I love the Mercedes logo that was I assume intended to be a peace sign.
Yes. During the Vietnam War we called it "The footprint of a chicken."

BLACK OLIVES DO MATTER! When I order a pizza with Canadian Bacon, BLACK OLIVES and MUSHROOMS, I am very hacked if I don’t see some BLACK OLIVES on it!
