Former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) said Trump offered him a senior position when they met in Indianapolis earlier this month to discuss the vice presidency.

Gingrich told him that he wants to serve as a senior adviser with special authority to examine the federal bureaucracy and identify examples of waste, fraud and abuse.

“I said I want to be the senior planner for the entire federal government, and I want a letter from you that says Newt Gingrich is authorized to go to any program in any department, examine it and report directly to the president,” Gingrich said Tuesday at a reception sponsored by the law firm Dentons. .....................I like this idea

“.I like this idea “

I do too...he should do it and make a big deal of it. The American public would see that Trump means business when he talks about waste....he should show the public how much these wasteful programs cost us in taxes.

It;s a winner

Trump is supposed to be good at firing people. I hope so. There’s plenty of deadwood that needs it. Entire departments full of it.

Mr Trump, whole you’re at it, consider dismantling the useless, unconstitutional cabinet departments that are part of federal tyranny and a total drain on political freedom and out economic health.

KEEP but STREAMLINE:
Defense
Interior,
State,
Treasury,
Veterans Affairs,
Justice

DISMANTLE:
Agriculture,
Commerce,
Education,
Energy,
Health and Human Services,
Housing and Urban Development,
Labor,
Transportation

ALSO DISMANTLE:
Dept of Homeland Security - useless and bloated - turn it back into its components, the FBI and the CIA and make them functional once again.

I like it, too. And this would be sweet, too.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is chairing the transition team, which has batted around a variety of names in recent days.

And Christie, who previously served as a U.S. attorney, is a leading candidate to step in as Trump’s attorney general.

Another name under consideration is Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and a former U.S. attorney and state attorney general. For months Sessions was the only member of the Senate who backed Trump.

While Christie has been more active on the campaign trail on behalf of Trump, Sessions would be a more popular pick with conservatives.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who guided New York through the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, is viewed as a strong pick to head the Department of Homeland Security.

Good idea, always keep the Hildabeast on the defense, never let her gain the high ground on anything—not that she can, but RATS see things differently. Always be in charge of the narrative. This will keep the dinosaur media grasping at straws, never having enough time to change the agenda in favor of Cankles.

Sounds good and I believe Gingrich would do a great job for Trump and the country in a position like that.

Corporate America has professional “hatchet men”, whose jobs it is to close large branches of corporations and fire people.

But Trump will need authority from congress to dismiss an s-load of GS (government service) employees. Actual fires should be well over a half million of the two million non-military federal employees.

Importantly, Trump also needs to appoint an entire new crew of federal prosecutors, and ones willing to go after federal employees who broke and continue to break the law.

Traditionally, not only do Republican presidents *not* go after the lawbreakers, but they continue to employ radicals who keep breaking the law. This must stop.

Many of his cabinet officers will have to immediately issue directives to their agencies ordering them to cease onerous behavior, end oppressive lawsuits, withdraw huge amounts of unconstitutional authority, as well as conducting thorough audits of how appropriations have been spent.

Time for some other country to host the UN. They need to move, how about Iceland, Greenland, Australia or Germany, perhaps China?

Yes!! A much more effective and involved position than Veep! Gingrich would have been lost and board as #2. In this type of position, he has the most traction to kick asses and take names.
