We will know more in about an hour or so, but your link to the thread from May gives some context. He got out there that time when a lot of false information was being spread. He tamped down the rumors, or tried to. He now again has a flurry of supposed inside information getting into the news. I suspect his statement will be an attempt to tamp down the rumors we all have been seeing.
