Russia to release Clinton emails?
The Washington Times ^ | June 30, 2016 | Bill Gertz

Posted on 06/30/2016 6:27:30 AM PDT by Hojczyk

U.S. intelligence agencies are said to be closely watching Russian online blogs and other postings for any signs that Moscow hackers have covertly obtained the bulk of Hillary Clinton’s email messages stolen from her private email server and are preparing to make them public. A U.S. intelligence official told Inside the Ring that the indications of the email release are being closely watched, although the veracity of at least two postings on the matter could not be confirmed as authoritative.

A State Department official has said Russia is one of at least three foreign governments likely to have obtained the full content of the former secretary of state’s server through covert hacking operations. The other two are China and Israel.

Russian intelligence agencies are suspected of cyberintrusions that obtained sensitive political information contained in Democratic National Committee networks. Last week, reports surfaced that computer networks of the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation were also compromised, also by Russian hackers.

Russian intelligence is considered to be the most capable nation-state cyberespionage and cyberwarfare power, and its intelligence-gathering operations in the U.S. are said to be going at Cold War levels.

Pathetic Hillary apologists have complained "you can't PROVE they got her emails!"

It's an interesting question.

As a Russian leader. do you want to deal with a sociopath and pathological lying criminal, or do you want to deal with someone like Trump, who may best you in a fair battle of wits?

If they have them, it would serve no purpose to release them now. They’ll use them to blackmail Hillary if she gets elected.......

It is hard to believe they would do that as it is so-ooo much better for them to know what her price list is. Corner the uranium market? $900,000. End American support for anti-Russian forces? $3,000,000. Plans for America’s new weapons? $500,000 each.

That is my wish also. But I want the disclosure after Trump has officially secured the GOP nomination.

My fear is that Russia (Putin) will not release them until too late, like an October Surprise, and it won’t change anybody’s mind. They really need to release them BEFORE the Dem Convention....................

I’d think Russia or China would much rather keep the emails secret and not help Trump get elected. Wouldn’t they rather deal with a weak sniveling weasel who is for sale ala Hillary, rather than a tough America-first US patriot like Trump? What would be their interest in releasing the emails?

Israel should much prefer Trump, if they understand the situation properly, but they would be much more hesitant to be seen interfering in the US elections, I would think.

Make the release part of an October pile-on.

If they do, I would suspect that it be after she officially becomes the Democrat nominee. Timing is everything. Otherwise, I would think they would have already released them. Throw the Democrat Party into panic mode. I honestly believe Putin dreads the thought of even having to interface with her, due to total lack of respect for her. So why rush it when a more severe impact can be had with a later release. Besides he is already getting signals from Donald that are positive in his point of view.

China is one thing, Russia is another. Both could use them for blackmail, but Russia (Putin) is more pragmatic than the Chinese Communists.

I think he would prefer a strong US leader, especially in business, than an untrustworthy opponent. If the American people can’t trust her, how can he?..................
