Pope Francis Says You’re NOT Christian if You Support Gun Manufactures
Ammoland Shooting Sports News ^ | June 22, 2016 | Ammoland

Italy (Ammoland.com) Pope Francis spoke with a group of young people at a rally of thousands at the end of the first day of his trip to the Italian city of Turin.

Francis started by attacking the Right to Keep and Bear Arms as well as accusing the allies during World War Two of being complicit in the killing of Jews, Christians and homosexuals.

Francis issued his toughest condemnation to date of the weapons industry, saying.

“If you trust only men you have lost,” he told the young people in a long, rambling talk about war, trust and politics after putting aside his prepared address.

“It makes me think of … people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit a distrust, doesn’t it?” he said to applause.

He also criticized those who invest in weapons industries (gun owners), saying “duplicity is the currency of today … they say one thing and do another.”

Francis also built on comments he has made in the past about events during the first and second world wars.

He spoke of the “tragedy of the Shoah,” using the Hebrew term for the Holocaust.

“The great powers had the pictures of the railway lines that brought the trains to the concentration camps like Auschwitz to kill Jews, Christians, homosexuals, everybody. Why didn’t they bomb (the railway lines)?”

It is surely an upside down world when the representative of G* on earth disparages the right to self defense and accuses the Greatest Generation of being complicit in Hitler’s genocide and the destruction of Europe and Russia.

See that wall? Guess why an earlier Pope constructed it. Then there's that neat armory. Anyone hear that he's selling off all those neat FIREARMS? NEITHER DID I!

Oh I know. It was more of a rhetorical question. Just pointing out that the church “supports” gun manufacturers.

The original Hebrew said DO NOT MURDER.
This was translated in the King James version of the the Bible to THOU SHALT NOT KILL.

Murder and Kill were fairly synonymous in the English language back in 1610, the year the King James version was first published.

But nowadays, nearly 407 years later, they have very specific and different meanings:

KILL can mean:
1. The taking of ANY life.
2. The taking of a human life deliberately or by accident.
3. The taking of a human life legally or illegally, morally or immorally.

Whereas MURDER has only one meaning:
1. The illegal or immoral taking of a human life.

It is not Murder to kill in legitimate defence of your own life, to kill in legitimate defence of another person’s life, to kill the enemy on the field of battle, or to kill the truly wicked.

I suppose the same could be said for door lock manufacturers? Better check with the Vatican bank.

Let’s see!

Walls are evil, gun are evil, wealth is evil.

Pope Francis surrounds himself with these things.

Therefore...

Well, I’m not Catholic, so what the Pope (any Pope, not just this sorry excuse for one) says, means nothing to me except as it is backed with facts and logic.

That being said, occasionally one may make statements with which I can agree, intellectually, politically, even perhaps theologically.

This isn’t one of those times

He’s not American. Americans are the only country with 2nd amendment rights. Why should he have the same thoughts on guns from one country? He represents the world not the United States. You guys are frightening with your ignorance.

We might not be Christians if we support Francis IMO.

Francis the talking mule in the old movies made more since than this Pope.

Francis, tear down your Vatican walls and populate you grounds with Sharia followers. Practice what you preach.

I WILL say it. As a Catholic I consider Pope Francis a far left heretic.

I feel sorry for the catholics being stuck with this shill for globalism, socialism, and those who wish to disarm our country. Though a non-catholic, my respect for former Popes was great, and their wisdom and understanding obvious. This man seems like just another left wig politician.
