Lousy headline.
Cops killed the mother. Say she killed the girls. Father was apparently just standing around.
Been 6 or 7 years since I was in Fulshear. Apparently, things have changed.
Which way?
Leave it to 13news for lousy reporting. The news here is more amateur than korn in hog snort arkansas.
Wonder how long the EBT cards will keep paying off?
They had been separated and recently got back together.
From what I’ve seen on the local news the girls came running out with the mother chasing them and she shot them then went back in the house and reloaded and came back out and finished them off.
Neighbors were watching this. I can’t believe not one neighbor owns a firearm.
And what was the father doing while his wife was killing his daughters? Most fathers would have at least jumped in front of them.
EBT cards? I don’t understand. They were as white as white can be. And very beautiful.
There’s got to be an interesting backstory to this one.
He should be charged as well.
Christy Sheats has teh crazy eyes.
What is a news mother?
From the end of the article.
“Those parents are good. They are hard-working,” said a next-door neighbor who wanted to stay anonymous. “Very good family. I do not know how this happened. So I cannot believe that.”
The denial of reality that some people live under it staggering.
Yeah.
Mom had just gotten home from a bad day at work and both daughters were sitting on the couch with the tv on and cellphones in hand.
One asked what was for dinner and the other said she had some clothes that needed washed.
Yes, that was a truly bizarre statement. The neighbor should have remained silent as well as anonymous.
With what. Not nearly enough information out there yet to see if the wife did anything wrong, much less the husband. All we know is that there was a cop who was quick on the trigger. The cop may or may not have been justified, again, no facts upon which an opinion can be based at this point.
Typical feminist emotional reaction. Blame the man.
Quit watching 13, but 11 and 2 aren’t significantly better. Houston is the fourth largest city in the U.S. and not only do we only have one horrible newspaper but between all the channels I doubt that we could even assemble one decent reporting team. We do have to rank as number one among the cities that makes sure each team is totally diversified.
Channel 2 seemed to focus on interviewing a couple of neighbors. Never did find out what the mom was so upset about that she felt she had to kill both of them. Maybe next week when there is no more wall-to-wall coverage of the Gay Pride celebration.
Can you correct the neighbors statement to make it align with what you would have said?
Looks like the Daily Mail in London has better local news coverage in Houston than does the local TV:
