Two boys from Middle Eastern immigrant families are in custody in relation to a sexual assault on a 5-year-old girl that, authorities say, happened at the Fawnbrook Apartments on June 2. Several people came to the City Council a week ago calling on city officials to release more information.
Edwards said the Council wouldn’t be here tonight if they had been proactive on the issue two or three years ago, and criticized President Obama for dividing Americans further.
“Coexistence doesn’t exist in our country,” he said.
Julie Ruf criticized Councilman Chris Talkington, who at last week’s meeting asked Ruf if she agreed with some white supremacist comments made at a February meeting and also said he was glad the critics of refugee resettlement weren’t around when his ancestors came over from Ireland. Ruf said she is of Irish descent as well, and that people shouldn’t have to worry about being attacked for speaking at a public meeting.
“That was entirely dishonorable of your seat,” she said.
Jesse Stroup agreed, saying people who come to speak shouldn’t be met with “sarcasm and rude insinuations.”
“I don’t know why you feel it was appropriate to treat (them) like their concerns were of little or no significance,” she said.

Yeah, well, Snopes would. The locals have had to admit that (1) “something” happened, (2) that it did involve three Muslim boys and a 5-year-old girl, and (3) that two of the boys have been charged. That’s a very long way from a “hoax”.
There are federal fund incentives for facilitating refugee resettlements. The motive is money or politics, or both.

Yes, the Rotherham case, makes me sick to my stomach every time I hear about it. I never got the whole story but didn’t the police and politicians throughout England actively try to suppress any reporting or court cases about it? Even to the point that prosecutors and law enforcement collaborated with the leaders of the rape and human trafficking ring to deliver the young British girls right back into their hands (with may being murdered soon afterward)?
Sounds to me like the UK authorities were not only negligent, but criminally complicit to the point that they were actively working with and assisting that Pakistani Muslim mafia that was running the operation. I can’t understand why the English people haven’t yet risen up and led their whole corrupt government to the gallows for that, crooked politicians have been executed throughout the world for far less of a betrayal. But I guess once again, since the perpetrators were PC migrants, that made it all OK. Even worse is that the Asian mafia there had nothing to do with EU demands, with or without Brexit it seems like the United Kingdom government has been actively importing Muslim refugees by the millions from former British colonies as a form of “post-colonial guilt or reparations” or something stupid like that. (IIRC Enoch Powell was warning about this back in the 1960’s.) I never understood this argument since British people today had nothing to do with that, yet of course the British multiculti diversicrat politicians do their best to insulate themselves from the havoc they’re creating with their policies. it’s young British girls in places like Rotherham that are paying the price while the cowardly, corrupt PC British officials try to shelter away in gated communities away from the 3rd-world “diversity” they’re so eagerly bringing in.
My son said there are thousands of British emigrants who’ve moved to just his province in Brazil and the town he works in in Chile within the past couple years, and even just mentioning Rotherham is enough to stir them into a frothing rage at the British government. (They refuse to refer to their homeland as “Great Britain” anymore even though that’s technically just a geographical term, that’s how angry they’ve become.) London now even has a Muslim mayor who’s moving towards imposing Muslim dress codes on women there. This idiot, Sadiq Khan banned supposedly “racy” ads (he probably wants to ban women from wearing anything less than a burqa) even though the city is teetering with dozens of urgent crises, all the while Britain keeps opening up dozens more Sharia courts and banks throughout England. The government in London has even gone so far as to criminalize criticism of the Rotherham human trafficking ring as being in-PC as racist, which doubly victimizes the girls who were brutalized since they’re basically hushed up and not even allowed to speak up about what they endured and how their own country’s leaders betrayed them. I’m having trouble figuring out which government fills me with more rage, whether the Democrat/neocon/RINO=GOPe sellouts in the USA or the cowardly Pakistani rapist protectors in the British government. If I’d been the father or brother of any of those girls in Rotherham, like I’ve been saying, those craven predators and the corrupt, cowardly officials in the cover-up would be getting a lesson from my Glock. According to those officials, three boys were involved, ages 7, 10 and 14, and the alleged victim was a 5-year-old girl. The boys are from Sudan and Iraq; none are Syrian. They are being held at a juvenile detention facility. Officials suspect the boys have been in the Uniteds States fewer than two years, but their refugee status wasn’t immediately clear to the police chief.
There were no adults involved, Loebs said, the boys didn’t have a knife, and the incident wasn’t a “gang-rape” instigated by the oldest boy.
“All those involved are juveniles, and the older one didn’t touch the victim in any way,” Loebs said. Only one person is alleged to have touched the victim, said the prosecutor, though he declined to elaborate.
The police chief also said there is no evidence to support claims the suspects’ fathers high-fived or praised the boys for committing the alleged assault, as has been reported on anti-refugee websites.

Is it just me, or does police chief seem more interested in his own “CYA” As if this was not a horrible thing that happened because some facts were initially reported incorrectly?
It *is* possible, although infuriating, to say the least, that official reticence had been applied due to the fact the perpetrators were minors, so a full-blown Duke LaCrosse/UVA would be even less warranted than in those two cases (in which the alleged perpetrators were not guilty of any crime, but were at least 'of age'.)
That said, the whole thing still reeks of a pernicious double standard, which far from allaying suspicions, actually enhances the suspicion. This pattern most emphatically needs to be broken, and for good, in this country, and one standard, under the law be applied...

Another reminder, for those citing local Idaho media in this case, the closest we have to ab even-handed source to cite accurate, un-PC, straight facts information about this case seems to be the local TV station KIVI-TV (as far as i know it’s the local ABC-station in Twin Falls)

KIVI-TV seems to be the one source that’s consistently avoided all the stupid word games and getting caught up in trivial details of some of the local papers, instead reporting on the full horror of what happened in detail, and being unafraid to point out that the perpetrators of this crime were indeed Muslim refugees from Sudan and Iraq— information originally provided by the police department and prosecutor himself (who, despite generally behaving with PC blinders on, at least did finally admit the basic facts).
When fighting MSM muddling and cover-ups, especially when addressing low-info voters and sheep stuck in denial on more mainstream general news sites, it’s important to be aware of the few MSM sources that at least make some attempt to get the basic story right and not hide the facts. Even the Idaho Statesman and Magic Valley paper are starting to catch as they realize that the public won’t take any more of their bullshiet without losing circulation, and that’s important as public pressure forces the truth to come out.
But KIVI-TV has done at least a reasonable job of reporting the truth and the details of this from the start. Whenever you cite anybody on this, best to start there.
