In many cases, opinion can be fact if it's the right opinion.

In many cases, fact can be opinion if it's the right fact. And, in the event of a dispute, I shall tell you which is which.

Saying “If we would insult them, they wouldn’t attack us” is tantamount to saying “If women didn’t entice men with the way they dress, men wouldn’t rape them”.
They attack us because they are barbarians. It is their very nature. They commit terrorist acts so they can terrorize.

If the shooter had been a white Nationalist member of the Aryan Nation, had contact with the Aryan Nation, committed the crime in the name of the Aryan Nation, been lauded by the Aryan nation and espoused racist views, how would Millennials see this?

They would see it according to the narrative given to them by the media, which is that it is an organic problem with specific groups that must be eliminated and condemned. Not only that, Christian Churches would be forced to officially condemn Christian Identity churches or be seen as partners with them.

To them, we are non-believers. To them, we are the Enemy. The silence of ‘moderate’ Muslim folk is deafening.

I’m glad I’m old and on the back side of life.

This current debate is a misdirection. Why? What we are experiencing is not “Radical Islam”, but rather everyday “normal Islam!” Normal Islam is a religious political totalitarian machine of conquest and submission. If we allow ourselves to create a false dichotomy between good Islam and bad Islam, we end up defending Islam itself! Question: Were the normal NAZIs good and the radical NAZIs bad? Were the normal Kamikazes good and the radical Kamikazes bad? Obama, or the demon behind Obama, is brilliant. To be able to lead thinking people down this path is diabolical.

“I’m glad I’m old and on the back side of life.”

Not me. I’m 67 & frankly it sucks to know I have fifteen years left, tops. Retired, I have for the first time in my life sufficient income meaning some left over at the end of the month. Nothing left to buy, I have all the guns I couldn’t afford when I was younger.

Now...there’s the threat of Islam. To the jihadis there are no innocents who are not Muslim. Therefore, we are all targets. In America, targets who can shoot back. Can’t do the Army PT test anymore, but I can still shoot.

Something to feel young about. Be part of a cause, which is the cause of liberty. Not over yet.

“If there’s a group of farmers, and farmers started attacking random people and started attacking random lots, would the farmers that were innocent not be...?”

Unfortunately the farmers you speak of, all follow the same almanac (Koran), which tells them to destroy and attack all who don’t believe what their almanac states. Some of the farmers ignore the instructions the almanac contains, but still believe the almanac is the truth, and in some cases are ashamed that they do not follow its instructions. They, because they are not in the majority, live peacefully among those they are told to hate in the almanac.

Some of these almanac purists preach and call out the non-almanac followers to repent and become violent. Some of the non-almanac followers hide those who have done violence in the name of the almanac. Some also know the plans and where the purist will strike, but because they really believe the almanac is correct, don’t tell anyone.

Unfortunately those in power demand that everyone ignore what the almanac states in plain language. No one condemns the almanac, because so many believe it is holy. The almanac says you can lie, cheat, steal, murder, and commit crimes against all those who don’t follow the almanac.

Also unfortunately if you are a powerful leader, you can lie and say you are not a follower of the almanac, all the time defending those who follow its instructions.

I posted this about a month ago.

This from the 1987 book “The Closing of the American Mind”, by Allan Bloom

From the Introduction starting on page 25;

https://books.google.com/books/about/Closing_of_the_American_Mind.html?id=cfr2ePZfFC4C&printsec=frontcover&source=kp_read_button&hl=en#v=onepage&q&f=false

“There is one thing a professor can be absolutely certain of: almost every
student entering the university believes, or says he believes, that truth is
relative. If this belief is put to the test, one can count on the students’
reaction: they will be uncomprehending. That anyone should regard the
proposition as not self-evident astonishes them, as though he were calling
into question 2 + 2 = 4 . These are things you don’t think about. The
students’ backgrounds are as various as America can provide. Some are
religious, some atheists; some are to the Left, some to the Right; some
intend to be scientists, some humanists or professionals or businessmen;
some are poor, some rich. They are unified only in their relativism and
in their allegiance to equality. And the two are related in a moral intention.
The relativity of truth is not a theoretical insight but a moral
postulate, the condition of a free society, or so they see it. They have all
been equipped with this framework early on, and it is the modern replacement
for the inalienable natural rights that used to be the traditional
American grounds for a free society.”

Snip

“The danger they have been taught to fear from
absolutism is not error but intolerance. Relativism is necessary to openness; and this is the virtue, the only virtue, which all primary education
for more than fifty years has dedicated itself to inculcating. Openness—
and the relativism that makes it the only plausible stance in the face of
various claims to truth and various ways of life and kinds of human beings
—is the great insight of our times. The true believer is the real danger.
The study of history and of culture teaches that all the world was mad
in the past; men always thought they were right, and that led to wars,
persecutions, slavery, xenophobia, racism, and chauvinism. The point is
not to correct the mistakes and really be right; rather it is not to think
you are right at all.”

snip.

There’s so much more.

You can download the entire Book (PDF) here;

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwj0-qrliPTMAhUNA1IKHTjiAPEQFggcMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fiwcenglish1.typepad.com%2FDocuments%2F14434540-The-Closing-of-the-American-Mind.pdf&usg=AFQjCNFlUof_2Q1Pr9s7xdWD13b52-8Zjw&sig2=Eph0ya2z3Y0dKmXiY0ZowA&bvm=bv.122676328,d.aXo

We have taught our students and now these parents are teaching their kids about the new virtues to live by.

Openness, So-called Tolerance, Truth is subjective, Relativism in all its forms, Being Non-Judgmental and the list goes on and on.

The Left/Progressives of today, whether they know it or not, promote willful ignorance and uncertainty as a virtue. After all, to be certain about something is a truth claim and is judgemental and should not be advanced ahead of any other truth claim.

Our educational system has been indoctrinating our kids for over 70 years and I believe we have reached the tipping point. Our American culture has been lost. Our Media, Businesses, Public and Private Institutions, Government entities both Federal, State and Local have bought into this insanity to such an extent that they don’t even know any difference. It’s not like they are making a reasoned and thoughtful decision about which position to take on any given issue. It has become their worldview, the foundations of their belief system.

And now we have this insanity being forced upon us by our own government with laws, regulations, threats and fines for non-compliance. Forced upon both individuals and businesses with political correctness and well organized boycotts.

But, I will say it again. They don’t know what they are doing. They don’t know anything else. They advance this worldview without any critical thought. They are on auto-pilot and they have reached critical mass.

Ever thought that Conservatives and Liberals live in two different realities?

See above.

Ever wonder why Liberals seem to be completely immune to their own hypocrisy?

See above.

Ever thought that Liberals and Logic don’t seem to go together?

See above.

Do you recall the axiom”: (I first read here on FreeRepublic, BTW)

“Conservatives hate it when you lie to them, Liberals hate it when you tell the truth”

See above.

Well said. I’m not giving up. I’m just glad I’m not a kid and have to live my whole life ‘governed’ by anti-Americans more concerned with lining their pockets than preserving our Republic.

I've noticed Rush hitting on some of the usual cylinders which is all well and good.

But without crediting or mentioning "TRUMP" and calling out "Militant Islamic Terrorism" BY NAME, it doesn't help President "Trump" BY NAME.

Did I miss something? This GOPe PC epidemic that avoids mentioning "Islam," "Militant" AND "Terrorism" at all costs only hurts Trump but helps Xlinton.

[N]ow we have this insanity being forced upon us by our own government with laws, regulations, threats and fines for non-compliance. Forced upon both individuals and businesses with political correctness and well organized boycotts.

Let's call it what it is: TYRANNY. Underwritten, organized and endorsed by the current regime. And STILL this overt in-your-face fascism is dismissed by the RNC-GOPe; These facetious twits like Ryan and Romney tell the people that "Hate" Donald Trump is the fascist threat.

If the GOPe succeeds in sabotaging Trump's campaign as they endorse a criminal fascist, we can count on another 8 years of continued destruction of what will be a dead Republic.

At what point does Trump get right to that stark truth and point?

I would call it tyranny if these people actually knew what they where doing.

They don’t know any different. It’s insanity in its literal sense. We are witnessing a collective case of “Sudden Acceleration Syndrome”. They are 100% convinced their foot is on the brake, when in fact, it is on the gas pedal. And nobody can tell them anything different.

That said, are there Liberal/Progressive leaders that are leveraging the mass dilutions for their own political gains?

Yes.

Is it some grand conspiracy?

Not likely.

More likely that these so-called leaders simply do not care about anything, including our Country, other than their ability to be in charge.

We have allowed our educational and media institutions to so thoroughly dumb down our populace that virtually anybody in a leadership position can extend their influence.

What would you do if you knew that the majority of the people and the media were completely clueless?

Educate them?

or

Tell them what they want to hear for votes?

These liberal/progressive/Democrats have been handed the keys to the Kingdom by our inability or unwillingness to challenge and destroy their concepts of relativism.

If you consider the path of least resistance among our political leaders given the current state of our culture, this is what we should expect.

They own virtually every aspect of our lives.

We are well beyond the tipping point.

Trump has just only cracked the ice against our embedded PC world. Can he lead the charge in the herculean effort to undo 60 years of indoctrination of relativism?

I don’t know.

What I do know is that if we can’t reestablish even a basic sense of objective morality, objective truth or our ability to define right from wrong, we are toast.

I would call it tyranny if these people actually knew what they where doing.

If you're referring to our overlords, they do. In spades.

They are 100% convinced their foot is on the brake, when in fact, it is on the gas pedal. And nobody can tell them anything different.

That's the way you see it. The way I'd describe it, the GOPe has gassed up the tank for themselves, the Dems, and the New World Order syndicate of elites since Reagan's Admin left.

Is it some grand conspiracy? Not likely.

There is in a sense that any savvy observer of Western Culture has witnessed an obvious bi-partisan effort to destroy personal and national sovereignty. With impunity. Without accountability or consent.

What would you do if you knew that the majority of the people and the media were completely clueless? Educate them? or Tell them what they want to hear for votes?

As a political reptile obsessed only with power, the latter. Which is why BOTH parties are corrupt and evil beyond redemption.

What I do know is that if we can’t reestablish even a basic sense of objective morality, objective truth or our ability to define right from wrong, we are toast.

Down is up, lies are truth, evil is good. Isaiah 5:20 is in effect. You and I both know this is the case.

Do you prefer your toast light or dark?
