Newt Gingrich is a busy man who could possibly get even busier. The former Georgia lawmaker's name is coming up as a serious candidate to be Donald Trump's vice president.
Just last month, Trump assured "Fox & Friends" co-host Steve Doocy that Gringrich was on his "short list" of candidates.
"Newt is such a great supporter. He's a tremendous guy … absolutely [he is on the list]. I'll say yes because he's been such a supporter. Anybody that supports me is on the short list," Trump told Doocy.

After Newt’s comments about the La Raza “judge,” he is probably on Trump’s $hit List, not his Short List.

Trump hasn’t officially removed Newt, although I believe he’s toast.
Newt’s comments didn’t bother me. He says what he thinks.
He is for Trump 100%, but he isn’t a sycophant.
Trump is the best man running. He isn’t the second coming, but he is the right man for the job. Newt is too old to be VP, but Trump will be lucky to have him in his inner circle as an advisor; he will be an experienced, and frank, voice. Trump can trust him to say what he thinks.

My understanding of Trump is that he places a great deal of emphasis on loyalty.
For Newt to be critical of Trump correctly calling out the racist, biased judge was monumentally stupid.
you know— I saw Newt disagree with Trump today. Trump was right as usual as Newt didn’t know that the the Judge was a racist member of La RAZA ( meaning “the RACE” ( mexican)).
But I like that and Trump is not afraid of that. Trumps needs Newt for many reasons but Newt needs Trump. I am still supporting Newt after initial pissed off stage. GO TRUMP/NEWT. Trump doesn’t want “Yes men”./ HE WANTS A GOVERNMENT AGAIN INSTEAD OF A DICTATOR!!
No. Newt has made it clear he cannot control his mouth. We need a true wingman, not an egoman.
