I never thought I would live to see a Republican rally Americans to call out journalists, other politicians, etc., for THEIR bias rather than sit back and listen to those hacks barrage US with labels. Awesome, Trump!

Even Fox News seems totally CLUELESS when it comes to the meaning of 'LA RAZA' and Judge Curiels association with it. WHAT THE HELL ELSE DOES 'THE RACE' DENOTE OTHER THAN RACISM, FOX!!

LA RAZA is Mexican KKK!!!

I heard on a drive time show that the judge is an AA idiot.

He unsealed some records that gave out the names, addresses, and telephone numbers that shouldn't have been released, and now is trying to close the barn door after horses have left.

To be clear....it’s a past affiliation.

>>”Are there any other stupid letters that were sent to you folks?<<

And that, folks, is the Trump Effect(TM)

Can you imagine ANY Presidential candidate saying that, all the way back to Hamilton?

A breath of fresh air — badly needed air in the toxic MSM and GOPe smog-laden environment.

This is doing no good for Trump keeping it in the news. With the exception of his supporters, this has a circular firing squad of Republicans, even his supporters, around him. I can’t see this helping with independents. We know what he meant.

I don’t think Trump was saying every judge of Mexican or Hispanic ancestry would be unfair. I think that he’s saying this judge is unfair because of his affiliation with this particular La Raza chapter. I know, I know, there are two La Razas. However, this one is listed on their website as a political group, they’ve endorsed candidates, and they also were involved in giving a scholarship to an illegal immigrant. Also, he could bring up the connection with the law firm and Clinton money as well as the judge continuing the case without the original plaintiff, and the judge releasing info that should not be released. If Trump had done it that way instead of just saying that he’s a Mexican/Hispanic, I don’t think we would have had the controversy. The judge might have looked suspicious. Then Trump should have touted the positive reviews and promoted the video of people who liked Trump U.

He should have moved on after that because the bottom line is that the longer this stays in the media and the longer this is out there, the more they will proclaim him a racist (despite the fact that Mexican and Hispanic are not races) and the more dirt journalists will search for on Trump U. The case is after the election, and he should focus his time on touting what he’ll do and hitting Hillary hard, debunking her speech, and exposing every last contradiction and bit of dirt he can find. That’s what most Americans care about, not Trump U.

The judge is a member of LA RAZA— a radical group that wants to make America Mexico again. They are the ones who defiantly fly Mexican flags and burn the American flag at Trump’s rallys. Trump has already started building the wall, the physical one will come later when he is president. The psychological wall must also be built, one that proclaims America FIRST.

” Has he said or done anything to give Trump the impression that he’s not able to rule fairly?”

Have you read anything about the case? The main plaintiff turns out to have praised Trump University, in writing, and Trump can provide that backup. So the prosecutors now want to change the plaintiff, since their whole case has been undercut. In any other case, it would have been dismissed, but not this one. Why? Because this case is supposed to be dragged out, intentionally, and they have a compliant judge to help.

It’s clear what’s going on. This judge is political, that is, not making rulings on the law, but on politics. He’s associated with La Raza and should recuse himself. But he won’t.

You got it! The judge has an appearance of impropriety because of his La Raza membership and his rulings are more than appearance of impropriety, they are improper.

I think we are looking at a political persecution to try to hurt Trump. The plaintiff lawyers are big Hillary donors. The fix is in.

So why isn’t Trump capable of plainly saying that? He should have focused on that (the la raza connection) and that alone from the beginning. He should have never called the judge a Mexican.

Nonsense.

He said everything he needed to say. That he didn't say it in the way the snowflakes and presstitutes demand means less than nothing, and even highlights the double standard MOST Americans have had to tolerate.

Because I doubt the judge knew about the Clinton money when he assigned that firm, the opening of files didn’t hurt anything to do with Trump or the University, the judge could very likely be in this group simply to network with other Latino lawyers like all minorities have their own chapters, political affiliation and race has not been held to be legal grounds for recusal, etc. a lot of reasons to drop it..

You could look it up. Right on FR, but since you're too lazy

I think the fact that you're an ass is a bigger problem.

Regardless, does that really matter, if so? A past La Raza affiliation is comparable to a past KKK affiliation.

But I'm not comfortable with this - is Trump's only objection to this judge the fact that he's Hispanic?

That's a media lie since Trump brought up both his ethnicity and membership in a race based organization that exists to further latino racial interests, including amnesty.

He should have never called the judge a Mexican.

Trump expects people to connect dots and not expect to be spoon fed. Trump doesn't do snowflakes, and he tunes out whiners. He's the ONLY one promising to build a wall against MEXICO. He's dealing with a judge who considers HIMSELF Mexican first. If people can't figure that out, they aren't voting for him anyway. How hard is it to type a name into Google? How hard is it to understand what an organization named "The Race" stands for, especially when its slogan is "For the Race, Everything - For Others, nothing"? Where is the mystery here? That's why he refers to the judge as a "Mexican" rather than a Mexican-American - he's showing what the JUDGE thinks!

If Trump could navigate through the "blood" libel, I'm inclined to defer to his ability to handle this without their input.
