Glenn Beck used to talk about harboring respect for Marco Rubio, but now that Rubio has basically thrown in with Donald Trump, Beck tore into Rubio yesterday over what he deemed as a betrayal.
Rubio has indicated in various Twitter spats over the past week that he’s behind Trump by default because there are no other good options to take down Hillary Clinton. But that’s not good enough for Beck.
He wrote, “Can you have any credibility when you said one thing on the campaign trail and then the opposite after. Were you lying to us then or now Marco?”

An awful lot of us evangelicals would breathe a sigh of relief if Trump chose and Rubio accepted the VP slot. I know they have differences , but politics has always overcome these. Rubio is a rising star in the party and has Reagan credentials. I think it would be wise for populist trump to choose Rubio as a balance.

I don’t get how anyone around here can think Cruz is eligible to be President. For years everyone around here argued about whether or not Obama was born in Kenya. On and on we talked about his forged birth certificate. Obama went so far to “prove” he was born in the US. Why did he publicly produce that obviously fake BC?
Because he knew and everyone knew that if he was born in Kenya he was not a NBC and not eligible to be President even though his mother was a US citizen.
But somehow because the foreign country of birth is Canada instead of Kenya, Cruz is NBC and eligible based on citizenship of his mother?

Well..in Oregon we’ve got GOP party “leaders” looking like they are going to challenge the rules at our convention...Oregon is proportional and Trump g ot about 77% of closed primary votes...my county’s GOP Chair is supporting Kasich!

Apples and oranges. Part of the issue had to do with whether Zero's mother, because of her age (not an issue with Cruz's mother) had the ability to bestow citizenship. The other part was outright deception on his part, trying to play the role of foreign exchange student where it suited him and then all-American when he ran for President. Zero also was educated on foreign soil (an Indonesian madrassa). Cruz was raised and educated in Texas from the start. He's no more a Canadian than Dubya is a lifelong resident of Connecticut.
