(Title) Stephen K. Bannon to Obama: Why Dont You Go to Pearl Harbor and Apologize to the Dead Still Buried There?
Breitbart Executive Chairman and SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon opened his Breitbart News Daily radio show on Friday expressing outrage at Barack Obamas apology tour of Hiroshima.
Below is a partial transcript:
I had Japanese partners. I was a partner with Nissho Iwa for a while. They financed my merchant bank for a while when I left Goldman Sachs. I have many, many dear friends in Japan. Ive spent many years in Japan. I have sailed with the Japanese Navy when I was a Naval officer off of Korea. I have the highest regard for the Japanese, but guess what? They were devils during World War II. Okay? And we beat em. And it took a nuclear weapon.
I want everybody in this audience today whos grandparents or parents were one of the potential 1 million landing force in Japan we planned that for three years. One million men to land in Japan, and they thought the minimum casualties would be 5 million people. You have to remember something, folks. It took two nuclear weapons to bring the military junta in Japan to their knees after fire bombing them for 6 months. Two nuclear weapons. And hes over there to start Memorial Day Weekend.
Why doesnt he go to Saipan or Peleliu or Tarawa or Guadalcanal or the Coral Sea or Midway or Wake. I got a better idea. Why dont they take that presidential plane and fly into Pearl Harbor and have the President of Japan, whos lecturing a President of the United States in front of the world, why dont you go to Pearl Harbor and sit there and apologize

Democrats of today try to achieve things by force.
Are you going to catch rabies from the mad dog in order to defeat the mad dog? That is the definition of pyrrhic.
Yep
That brought tears to my eyes.
Your son has a good heart.
Damn right! I do love that headline!
What was your Dad doing while he was stationed in Australia? Was he a Marine? Or a Navy man?
Good article.
0bama has spent 8 years defiling everything American. Several months of this outrage to go. God help us.
Well said.
And look at the result (Japan) — an economic superpower of innovation and quality. What is wrong with this?
Heck, if we hadn’t used the bombs we probably still be fighting them or would have lost our resolve and abandoned the war years ago. Neither very good prospects for the region and the rest of the Pacific.
One other possibility is that Russia would have finished them off. There is a rivalry between the two countries.
A heartfelt memorial at Pearl Harbor would be good.
Also good would be regrets at Nanking.
We feel sorry, but “they made us do it.”
I have nothing wrong with calling citizens and their leaders to morally evolve. There might be a few people among us who will heed that call and do so. Good for them.
But they are not problem. Turning people around who are so close to the moral boundary that a mere speech is enough to turn them towards righteousness will not solve the problems in this world.
There will still exist people far away from this boundary, for whom such a speech amounts to an admission of weakness. Those people will not be dissuaded from doing the evil things that they were going to do anyway. They are the ones we need to deal with, we being both America and also the rest of the civilized world.
It is going to take more than speeches.
I agree
It’s still in this fallen world, there are still imperfections and a lot of details to debate. But on the large, Japan has not fared badly at all.
I am not shy to say this is a direct reflection of the salvational work of Jesus Christ, even though most of Japan is not Christian. God so loved the world, doesn’t mean that the world is all going to so love God back the same way.
But again I sometimes wonder about private gospel. Japan adores Christmas, definitely a post-westernization trend. I wonder if the message of the Christ child and His promise comes to souls that are externally involved in religious systems like Shinto and Buddhism, but find Him to go deeper than those things can. Will we meet people in heaven with the most fantastic stories about how God got them there?
It doesn’t take much to do much, sometimes. One baby in a manger. Something like less than the weight of a dime in mass was converted to energy in the Hiroshima bombing. Maybe I am sentimental, but I hope for what God hopes for, too.
The speech that counted was made on Mt. Calvary almost 2000 years ago. God spoke with deed, not just word. He’ll sacrifice for the most wicked.
Obama is just doing what his Master says.. He is not bright enough to think of thius stuff himself. He is a PUPPET AND IS TOLD WHAT TO DO 100%.
Which one of his masters told him to do this? Soros?
Bath House is a sissy and a coward. Believe me - he is nothing more than a groveling coward at heart. My dog has more courage than this worm.
Or go to _______ and apologize:
1. Baatan
2. Cabanatuan
3. Nanking
4. Singapore
5. Guam
6. Wake
7. Guadacanal
8. Manila
9. etc.
Why doesn’t he just go straight to hell?
This is what you get when fools elect a mooslim, communist, America hating, Queer.
And now I am.
I’ve told this before here, usually on Veteran’s Day. My Dad bought a poppy from the little rack where you took one and left a quarter every two weeks when we went to the bank to cash his check. He was not usually a man given to public display. One day, as we walked to the cafe for our usual special payday lunch, I asked him why he did this. “To remember my buddies who didn’t make it home and the ones who came home in pieces.”
I miss my sweet, uncomplicated rural Oklahoma childhood. The one when we had just enough and almost never more and appreciated it all.
According to the WWII encyclopedia of casualties
“Total U.S. combat casualties in the war against Japan were thus 111,606 dead or missing and another 253,142 wounded.”
Obama disses their sacrifices.
Listening to Obama in Japan one would think Truman just woke up one morning and with evil in his heart dropped the A bombs on Japan.
Those nukes saved my dad’s life. He had just finished in Germany and was on a ship headed to Japan when the Japanese surrendered. Without the bombs I would not be here.
