Sir Paul McCartney has talked candidly about the depression he suffered after The Beatles broke up, confessing he considered giving up music altogether.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4's Mastertapes, he said he had been at a loss when the band fell apart in acrimony in 1970.
"It was difficult to know what to do after The Beatles. How do you follow that?" ...
The Beatles officially split in 1970 with the release of Let It Be, but the seeds of their demise were sown a year earlier, when the band appointed Allen Klein as their manager, against Sir Paul's wishes ...

We'll see.
I think she was instrumental in breaking up the band, that's all.
One of my favorite McCartney songs....

News reports have confirmed that Paul McCartney has separated from
his wife Heather Mills-McCartney. Mrs Mills-McCartney is said to be
distraught over the split.
“He has been my crutch for so long”! She said in an earlier interview, “I have no idea why this has happened, I’m really stumped”
After his break up with Heather, Paul was asked if he would ever

“She’s running around in circles”, according to a close friend,
“she will need all the support she can get. It’s not like its easy to walk
out on a relationship like this”
I hardly noticed.
He realized that life was a bowl of cherries and moved to the heart of the country.

There’s a demo audio out there of the Beatles giving that song a try in the practice studio. That song was a gem when done post Beatles.
>Uncle Albert sounded like a leftover from the Beatles days.<
I have to believe that it was meant for the Yellow Submarine album but was cut out.
John was the weak link by then. Funny that Ringo had more hits than John did during that time.
For years I didn’t know that George wrote “It Don’t Come Easy” and had recorded a demo.
Of course she did. I love how she takes the blame. Are men that cowardly and manipulated..oh.. forget it.
They never intended anything for the Yellow Submarine album. That was made up of rehashes and leftovers.
John’s last album ‘Starting Over’ was really quite good. Too bad that ashole lunatic ended his life like that...
Yeah, it appeared John finally was out of his drug-induced stupor at the time of his death.
As many have noted, they broke up at about the right time. McCartney himself is one of the most talented musicians in the world with the ability play just about any instrument made. Of course he’s known for playing bass, but he’s strapped on a 6-string Les Paul in concert and played a pretty good version of ‘Purple Haze’.
