I’ve always loved junk and it seems so underrated. You never hear it or of it.

LOL, when I was in 2nd grade, you were in one of two camps: Either you liked The Osmonds, or The Jackson Five. Of course, the cool kids liked The Jackson Five.

There is a very good book about McCartney called Man on the Run.
It was written with McCartney’s cooperation.
It tells about his life post Beatles. He seemed to have a more difficult time with the break-up than the others.

Marko.

Seems to me Paul is obsessed with his legacy and what others think of him.

Imagine what he was when he listened to a Wings record.

Yoko is a homewrecker who financially froze out Lennon’s son with his first wife (Julian originally got some measly trust fund - I think he later got more after fighting with Lennon’s estate). Yoko may have business acumen but she is an utter witch.

Of course. They had quite a run.

But as a headline, when some of us have to count our pennies to feed our families, it really sucks. Poor famous rock star.

Sure. Ringo was on track to become a star and what was going to happen to Paul?

That would explain her relationship with Hillary.

Snopes credibility on this one questionable at best.

Note there is no denial and Snopes rests its rational on this:

“Had Ono admitted anything of the sort, that report would have reached mainstream media sources.”

George’s “For You Blue” could have been rewritten with a different meaning.

“You're Sixteen” on the album Ringo released in 1973 had all three of the Beatles on the song. Lennon played on other tracks on the album. Harry Nielson sounds like Lennon on the recording, “You're Sixteen” which led many to believe all four of the Beatles were on the recording.

Paul McCartney is melody incarnate, gifted direct from God, in my opinion.

He also is, as you say, just a tremendous overall musician—sight-reading piano, playing incredibly melodic bass (a style which he really invented in pop-rock anyway), and any style of guitar. Not a virtuoso, but maybe better since he’s all feel, emotion, and heart. Backed by amazing chops anyway...

He also played drums on Back in the USSR and on Ballad of John & Yoko, two songs that just rock. I know he played other instruments on other albums too.

And his first post-Beatles hit single “Another Day” is a very underappreciated gem—John hated it and made fun of Paul in the press for it, but you know that was just Beatle brother jealousy.

John could write some gorgeous melodies, and Paul could write some amazing lyrics too, though each is more known for the opposite. John wouldn’t be John without Paul, and Paul wouldn’t be Paul without John.

But post-Beatle, IMO, Paul stands far and above John.

Ok, I grew up to 5 songs on the album. Never new the album name or listened all the way through. Awesome.
