Donald Trump went there. The presumptive Republican nominee brought up allegations that former President Bill Clinton committed rape in an interview with Sean Hannity - but why?
Anyone who lived through the 1990s remembers that whenever Republicans bring up Clinton's sex life, it is usually the Republicans who lose. And Bill isn't the candidate this time around. His wife is.
That's why so much controversy surrounded Trump's decision to lob this bombshell.

Crooked Hillary said every rape victim has a right to be believed. According to news reports, her husband has been accused of rape or sexual abuse by at least 14 women. According to crooked Hillary we should believe these women and I do.
Bill Clinton = rapist. Crooked Hillary = rape enabler.
The Republicans never really went after rape charges, just sex life.

If the Republicans in the Senate then had any balls at all then ol’ BJ should have and could have been impeached and removed from office for the high crimes and misdemeanors he committed during that disgusting, disgraceful, and outright criminal episode. Hell, even Fred Thompson voted NOT Guilty on the perjury charge but Guilty on the obstruction of justice charge. By not voting Guilty for both charges Thompson was part of the Republican group of Senators that allowed ol’ BJ to get away with his blatant criminality, thereby setting the stage for the continuing crapping and shiteing on the Constitution ongoingly by the lawless federal government ever since. And Thompson thereafter posed as some sort of “conservative” that was going to be like the second coming of Ronald Reagan.
We must also never forget that the women who Clinton
sexually abused....to this day....have NEVER received justice.
Looks to me like Pres Trump will deliver it.
Because Hilary enabled him, defended him, and destroyed his female accusers.
This will end up being about Hilary lying again and will fit into the “crooked Hilary” theme and will highlight Hilary’s war on women. It won’t be so much about Bills sex life (as much as most of the media will try to make it.)
Trump isn’t shooting from the hip. This is well orchestrated.
This in a nutshell.
Democrats are allowed to hit below the belt and then retreat to safe zones. Republicans have been expected to play by Marquess of Queensberry rules. And most of them have, up until Trump.
Nobody knows what to make of it. Not Republicans. Not Democrats. And not the media.
He's old and frail...and--to quote the Good Book--there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed.

In case they haven’t noticed, Trump doesn’t exactly fit the mold of typical Republicans. For example, he won’t say something in a high-squeaky voice like “well, President Clinton did it too” and then run away when challenged. He hits hard, and relentlessly, until the other side concedes...and they will concede here, given the Clinton past.
