What’s the point of having a brain, if you refuse to use it?

Take a look at Trump’s platform and grasp what an ignorant statement that was.

If you want some good entertainment, go to Youtube and search for 1980 election night coverage.

The talking heads are positively stunned, as the landslide unfolds.

California has been blue for a long time now, and the California GOP has done everything in their power to ensure it stays as blue as possible, especially with contributions like “Me encanta illegas” Meg and iCarly.

To help ensure that political campaigns continue to blow wads of cash, they changed the rules so that the two highest vote getters in primaries (no matter their party affiliation) are the only ones who make the general ballot.

Of course, it got even worse after the infusion of McCain and Romney people. Hopefully the state GOP can rebuild into something resembling conservative with Trump's people.

Trump could very well sin in WI, MI, PA and maybe NJ and CT.

I live in Southern Californina and I can say with certainty he won’t even get 40% in CA. As Ronald Reagan would say, this sate is so left, it has left the country!

I don’t know if he can or not, but if anyone can, it would be him. Any other candidate, and we’d be talking about Florida and Ohio only...but Trump opens up the race in other states like no other candidate could.

Give the Democrat and the Republican parties some credit. The Democrats are helping by picking an unelectable, corrupt, hated candidate. The Republicans in the 2015 (and 2016) congress are helping by making lots of conservative voters want to give the middle finger to the republican party.

Whether you like Trump or not there are lots of reasons to vote for him. And that’s just for people voting out of hate for Hillary and the GOPe. People with pride in America have reasons to vote FOR him - not everyone who loves the country will vote for him but there are a lot of us who hope he’ll follow through on his enthusiasm for the country and the love he claims to have. And it’s nice to vote FOR instead of against a candidate.

In presidential campaigns from 1992 onward, Republican presidential performance in the Midwest and Northeast has been very disappointing. With the exception of Indiana and Missouri, the Midwest is either Democratic-leaning or battleground and average Republicans have almost no chance of winning any Northeastern state except New Hampshire.

But that could all change with Trump. I think Pennsylvania is very primed to switch red, considering its voting trends in recent years. Ohio is always very competitive and Michigan may be too. I’m less sanguine about Wisconsin and Minnesota but anything’s possible.

Trump’s unique appeal likely won’t flip New York, but he could do well in a lot of states that typical Republicans fare very poorly in.

When most people think tsunami or tidal wave, they think in the stereotypical wall of water 200’ high. Think back to the tsunami of a few years back, it wasn’t a towering wall of water coming down, it was a rising tide up.

1980 election night was awesome, but in some ways 1994 was even better.

A realistically obtainable outcome for Trump, who does far better than other Republicans in the Midwest and doesn’t lose votes elsewhere. (I’m giving VA to the Leftists because NoVA has exploded in size along with the size of the government.)

I never thought Ronald Reagan had any better than slim chance to do anything better than a very tight win. And certainly until election night I never thought he would win Michigan and Pennsylvania, much less New York Massachusetts and Maryland and Rhode Island. But, that is exactly what happened.

Yes he can and will by bringing out those who have been cast aside by old politics for far too long. Trump is new politics Clinton is old politics. He makes the rules not the media.

““bombastic billionaire” = MSNBC still treating Donald Trump like a comic book character. Boy, will THEY be shocked on election night!”

The MSM “newsrooms” will need to be “gun-free zones” on election night. These turds will be suicidal as the returns come in!
