FOX NEWS POLL: Trump tops Clinton in head-to-head matchup, both seen as deeply flawed candidates

Donald Trump tops Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup, according to a new Fox News Poll that also finds majorities of voters feel both frontrunners lack strong moral values and will say anything to get elected.

Trump has a 45-42 percent edge over Clinton, if the presidential election were held today. That’s within the poll’s margin of sampling error. Last month, Clinton was up by 48-41 percent (April 2016).

The vast majority of presidential candidates are far more flawed than the public knows at election time. At least we know a lot about these two going in (unlike the current squatter at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue).

Excuse me but I don’t think Trump has RAPED and ABUSED anyone, nor has he ever been to Epstein’s island...nor has he had any one killed, nor has he done .01% of what the Clintons have done, has anyone read EVER where Trump sold CHINA our SECRETS???? And did he Kill 4 Americans in Benghazi????

The ‘Butcher of Benghazi’ ‘sexual abuser and rapist enabler’ best keep her mouth shut, she’s not playing with a full deck anyway, so if you don’t want ALL of the world to know what a sleaze you really are, drop out, go away, never to be seen or heard from again!!!

The only disagreement I have with this is I don’t see Trump as deeply flawed. I think he’s a stand out guy which is why I support him. Mcstain and Willard were flawed candidates.

It seems to me that most FOX polls had Trump substantially lower than his actual results, at least during the primaries.

I love how Trump is “deeply flawed” but is bringing out more voters than in the history of the United States.

Imagine if he wasn’t deeply flawed? He’d have more voters than there is currently on the census reports.

“Deeply flawed...”
“Raises serious questions...”
“Many question whether...”
“Raises alarm...”
“Dangerously out of touch...”
“Out of the mainstream...”
“Doubts haunt campaign...”
“Serious questions remain...”

These are terms continually used by leftist media to evoke doubt and fear, mainly in female voters. Repeated endlessly, they are nothing but flat out psychological manipulation. I believe people are finally waking up to what the establishment media is really all about, which is shilling for the democrats, and trying to move votes into HRCs column.

The more people who hear Trump, the more dislike him.

And the more they are inclined to vote for him.

Damndest thing I ever saw.

“Paul Manafort called it a month or so ago. Both Trump and Crooked Hillary have high negatives, but Trump’s are about personality (style) which can be corrected. Crooked Hillary’s are about character (substance) which can’t be.”

True enough. Hillary’s are indeed ingrained into her character. There is no changing that.

The only thing that will undo all of this is the women in the country. The DEMs will build this up as another history-making election, and that will be tough to battle.

Unless you are a hard-line conservative on FR, in which case you are sitting out the selection.

Damndest thing that keeps repeating itself in recent elections.

Six months to go. Keep a close eye on that trend curve.

Between Judicial Watch and the FBI along with the increasing details of her racketeering, I don’t think Hillary will be out of the race before the convention. That means the Democrats are stuck with Sanders unless they pull a Lautenberg and substitute Biden. If they think Sanders’ supporters are unruly now, they haven’t seen anything.

The plastic spork sphincters over at FOX couldn't stand just headlining "TRUMP LEADS!" They had to include some negative shot along with the miracle news.

These same turd-holes told us for the past year that Trump was behind Clinton by 16-20 points, and he could never win.

The only sad part remaining is that these phlegm-wads are so thoroughly venal and amoral that they will not even feel the tiniest scintilla of shame over having repeatedly made fools of themselves on national TV.

They debase themselves with such fervor and glee... it's kinda weird...

I guess lying about Trump is what Fox means about “fair and balanced!” Somehow they have to find a way to get Trump down to Hitlary’s level.

Well, the GOPe’s Trump can’t win campaign should be coming to an end, and next they need to shutup about how Trump will supposedly hurt the chances of all Republican members of Congress up for reelection. If they’ll start supporting Trump and not try to undermine his main issues, then he might grow coattails that could increase the number of Republicans in Congress.

I don’t know about that. Certainly a 55-45 victory is possible but a 60-40 result would require the demographics similar to the landslides of 1972 or 1984.

270 to Win Create your own electoral map. I'm hoping for at least 30 states. Any more than that and it will be a Yuge landslide!
