Opinion: Democrats, not Republicans, may be on verge of unraveling
Market Watch ^ | May 17, 2016 | Darrell Delamaide

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — Contentious supporters of the two rivals for the Democratic nomination turned the selection of Nevada’s national delegates this weekend into a virtual battlefield, with the chairman gaveling the proceeding to a peremptory close and fleeing the stage while armed guards cleared the meeting venue.

The spectacle of Democratic Party officials railroading through a ruling favorable to Hillary Clinton while denying certification to some 58 Bernie Sanders delegates to the state convention comes on top of charges that caucuses and primary votes around the country have been manipulated to beef up Clinton’s much-touted lead in national delegates.

Hopefully the Republicans did come to their senses and support Trump, and not turn their convention into a spectacle. As we can see here, this hurts the party -- apparently the Dems are not that smart either.

Hillary will promise Bernie the sun, the moon and the stars to get him on board and to get him to convince his groupies to join Hillary. Billions and Billions will flow to Vermont of Hillary gets elected.

The new Muslim illegals placed in Rutland VT will each get a 10 million dollar mansion and the rest of the state will get free marijuana cigs for life.

Despite the best efforts of Romney, Kristol and Rove, the GOP moving forward under Trump’s leadership is going to be stronger than it has been since Reagan.

It does matter when there’s real popular support behind a party, rather than it playing to the lesser-of-evils argument.

It seems the #nevertrump movement has lost it’s steam with only few true believers holding on to their dream of a GOPe 3rd party run.

The Dems have a huge problem as Bernies fans despise Hillary and will not come out in vote in November which is a huge blow for Hillary as that will amount to a loss of 6 to 8 million votes at least.

The days leading up to the end of Cruz’s run were certainly contentious and downright heated at times. However, the flying of heated words and passionate outbursts never erupted in flying fists and other such physical eruptions as we see with Dems. But then the much detested ‘right’ has always stood for the party of mature adults as opposed to the ‘left,’ which stands for out-of-control nasty brats in adult-size bodies.

The Democrats always fall in line.
Some disaffected Bernie supporters may flip to Trump, but for the most part a Democrat always votes Democrat.

I stopped considering my self a Republican after I figured out that they were not at all interested in securing the border or enforcing the law, and in fact were working against the citizens.
I did not vote for McAmnesty, I did break down and after 2 stiff shots hold my nose for Romney. Still makes me sick to think about.

Our only hope is if Trump and the citizens can clean out all the multi-national politicians.
If every Republican was like my Rep. Dave Brat, we would be much better off.

CANTORIZE YOUR WEASELS, AMERICA!

And there have been some polls which suggest that Trump has chipped away a bit at the black vote.

Obama got about 96% of the black vote, and black voter turnout was high in his elections.

Democrats can normally count on getting about 90% of the black vote for president, and pencil that into their calculations right off the bat.

If Trump can hold Hillary to 85% of the black vote, and if black voter turnout is down, due to lack of enthusiasm, etc. that could flip some states from Democrat to Republican.

Similarly, Hillary needs to get Bernie voters and get 90% of Bernie voters to put together a winning coalition. If Trump and outsider appeal gets him 25% of the Bernie voters, that too could flip some states.

Hillary with her IslamoNazi Arabian Peninsula dictator money (over $100,000,000,.00 that we know about just this year)
has bought off the D party Superdelegates

but there is an article in today’s news that a bunch of SD’s are not willing to commit yet to Hillary, meaning they are not staying bought off, after all!!!!!!

and then these D party machine hacks have “warned” Bernie against “violence” but Bernie is non-violent so they’re just huffing and puffing like fools. Bernie’s voters were shut out of the Nevada D convention and they objected, is all. If the D party boss machine actually goes through with its stated intent and ...my wording..crams Hillary down the D party voters’ throats ... the D party voters (a very, very large nunmber of them) will NOT vote for her.
Trump was not my candidate but he is the perfect R nominee to attract a big chunk of the D voter base in the general election, that’s for sure. And not just the “Reagan Democrats” or “social conservative D’s” ..... but a whole lot of Bernie supporters too... they do not like being shut out of the D party and they do not like their choice of nominee being sh*t on by the D party boss’ machine

a whole lot of them will support Mr. Trump

I did vote for McCain but not for Romney, Romney had zero value whatsoever.

I am praying that the GOP will come together in Cleveland like never before. The stakes have never been so grave!!!
Mr. Trump has presented us with our last chance to salvage any semblance upon which our nation was founded!
It drives me up the proverbial wall when I listen to the convoluted rantings of somebody who ought to care about what is on the line in this election. I am referring to last night’s interview on Anderson Cooper’s show with John Kasich, who said he couldn’t bring himself to endorse Mr. Trump because he would have to look into the faces of his wife and daughters and answer to them. My God, why does he want to risk our fate in the hands of Crooked Hillary!!! Doesn’t he care about the myriad issues (jobs, terrorism, supreme court) at all??? And, why cannot he acknowledge that Mr. Trump has clearly been the choice of his party???
I will keep praying that the GOP will achieve harmony and forge a united front to do everything possible to win in November!!!

She is going to suffer similar losses amongst Latinos...and I believe amongst more moderate white democratic voters.

I all of that comes to pass...we could see Trump win in a landslide not seen since the Reagan victories.

I hope and pray it is so.
