I doubt Trump’s support on FR hit anything close to 87%. It sure hasn’t with the rest of the GOP. But WHY do Trump supporters continue to attack anyone who doesn’t give a Lewinsky to Trump? Just how do you expect to win - with democrats alone?

Why viciously attack people who ought to support the nominee, but who CAN be driven away if they are crapped on long enough? I’m trying to get people I know to vote this November, but a lot plan to sit it out - so why not focus on HILLARY and STOP attacking Cruz?

Did a Freeper write this article? Did Cruz not point the finger at tens of millions of Americans telling them they'll all be responsible for the rise of Trump? What a jackball Cruz is. Is everyone supposed to just ignore what this guy says when he continues to make comments to the MSM? Get real. Not going to happen.

“I doubt Trump’s support on FR hit anything close to 87%.”

Oh, but it did. Freeper DoughtyOne ran the daily FR Caucus, which measured Freeper voting preferences, for 100 days, during the early months of this year. The tabulated totals clearly showed an overwhelming preference for Donald Trump over the course of that exercise.

Check with Doughty if you’re skeptical. He documented it all.

There was a caucus here at FR conducted daily for MONTHS. Any FR user who wanted to could vote in it.

There was nothing stopping Cruz supporters from making their presence known. They could have organized and made sure they voted. They could have had an FR ‘ground game’.

However, they never did.

Why? Because 87% of FReepers support Trump. Excuses will not be accepted. The fact is that every opportunity was there to show more support and it never happened. What did happen was that it was documented daily, repeatedly FOR MONTHS, that 80%+ of FReepers support Trump. Period.

Trump won. And you and your little band of ignorant, arrogant, idol worshiping, droning malcontents can all choke on it for all I care.

“.......and STOP attacking Cruz?”

I will attack him until hell freezes over or until he simply quits attacking us.

We can attack Hillary (and do).

But we can also be fed up with Cruz trying to rhetorically undermine our nominee, as well as insulting his voters:

“Those who bolstered Trump ‘will bear that responsibility going forward’

Really, what kind of patronizing BS is that?

I get it, the campaign was rough and raw on everyone’s nerves. I don’t blame him for not wanting to be supportive right away.

But he needs to stop it with the digs. It’s over.

Getting his #NeverTrump surrogates to knock it off too, would be nice.

“why not focus on HILLARY and STOP attacking Cruz?”

Question/suggestion to Cruz and his supporters:

“Why not focus on Hillary and stop attacking Trump?”

Cruz did not win. Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee, so all Republicans and conservatives, including original Cruz supporters should now support Trump.

Why isn’t Cruz doing it?

Why does Trump and his supporters have to capitulate to Cruz and his supporters when they clearly lost? It's turning out to not even being close and Trump is on track to set a primary record in votes.

I just don't understand why Cruz and some of his supporters are acting like big baby losers when clearly the American people didn't want what Cruz was selling. Personally I used to like Cruz but now I'm at the point I can't stand the man.

The focus is bigger than your bruised egos and that is getting this country back on track and defeating the commie Hillary. Cruz only makes things worse by saying stupid things like this in the article.

We will have to vote for Trump despite his supporters.
You know it’s your patriotic duty. I was holding out hope for a possible Cruz spot at VP but, this ain’t gonna fly for Trump.
Trumps response to this should be interesting.

longtermmemmory said it well in a prior post.

Did you get mad at voters who voted in the primary to support McCain or Romney over your candidate? Did your candidate in those primaries come out and say the McCain or Romney voters bear the responsibility for what now happens to the country from McCain or Romney?

When you think about how you and the losing candidates accepted the past situation, you see that Cruz is being petty.

I was glad to vote for those RINOs over 0bama in the general election. I'm sickened we still have 0.

This was the last day of the 100 day Free Republic Caucus.

Use the links. Look around.

Tead got his ass handed to him on Free Republic.

The majority spoted him for who he was.

Do you not remember when Cruz said/implied that those who supported Trump were stupid? Note to Ted: Don’t insult people you’re trying to win over to your side.
