I Am Going To Vote For Trump Though It Makes Me Want To Projectile Vomit
townhall.com ^ | 5/9/2016 | Kurt Schlichter

I intend to vote for Donald Trump, and just typing those words makes me throw up a little. Make that a lot, and for distance. Yeah, I know Trump is a clown, but so is Hillary Clinton, and while he’s sort of an irascible and tacky Ronald McDonald, she is freaking Pennywise.

Now, if you want to see my Trump-slamming bona fides, you can Google my CNN appearances where I was the go-to conservative who would reliably trash the loudmouth Republican nominee until I dared attack Hillary and mussed their carefully coiffed narrative. But I haven't changed my mind about anything I said. Trump is terrible. It's just that I believe Hillary is infinitely worse.

About 90% of my friends are in the #NeverTrump category. Hell, my wife is #NeverTrump. This is understandable since I hang with a lot of hard-core conservatives and similar quality people. They tell me it's an act of principle to refuse to vote for Trump, and I agree - completely and without reservation. No sarcasm here – believe me, I get it.

Hey, Many of us voted for Romney and felt the same nausea in our gut that you're feeling right now!

So what can I say, pal! Now it's YOUR turn! Feel the burn, baby! Feel the burn! We put up with it in 2012 - can you now?

I hope you do Kurt Schlichter, right after you vote and get into your car to head home from the place you cast your vote at. Make sure you eat a really big breakfast before you go. Also please keep it in your car. Do not open your door or roll down your window.

Interesting fear, however I think he’s smart enough to know that a stunt like that would definitely be jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. Democrats hate America with a passion — they are not just indifferent or conflicted.

My worry regarding Trump is not that he’s going to do what he says he’s going to do, but that he won’t.

Right, it’s us Trump supports getting uppity. This guy rights an article describing how awful he thinks Trump is and it’s the pro-Trump people that have a problem.

He could have wrote the same article without the hate.

I’m sick of these self flagellating elitist slobs.

Don’t worry, Kurt, maybe Bill Kristol or Lindsey Graham can hold your head...

Hillary doesn’t really know what to do about Donald. That’s the beautiful part.

I just think that when he starts having private meetings with Senate majority or minority leader Chuck Schumer, he’s going to realize that he has a lot more in common with him and the other Democrat leaders than he does with the small town Republican leaders. He’s dealt with the big city Democrat leaders his whole life. It’s who he is probably more comfortable with. Anyway, that’s my fear. It would be classic Trump. Surprise everyone by changing the rules of the game if you don’t like the way the game is going.

Many of us held our nose and voted for Romney and MCain! What most did not do was bad mouth MCCain and ROmney in the mainstream media.

I supported Cruz with $’s.

I have converted to trump, it wasn't easy at first but as I know more about him I find myself being shocked about how wrong the media is about him. He's a good guy. If you would like to know a little more about him watch the Alex Jones interview on youtube.

In our unending search for the most efficient, experienced and unobjectionable candidate... for some reason we have come up with the MOST objectionable candidate...

Still he purports to be ‘conservative’ and we are once again in the position where we elect him, because the alternative is so much more objectionable.

I blame the MSM... which has ceased to report on the process because they SO want to make themselves PART of the process

AND... I also blame the NEA... whose systematic dumbing down of generation after generation of Americans has made us all prey to the unavoidable consequences of a stupid and gullible voting public which, thanks to MSM lies, has an influence out of all proportion to its actual numbers.

Thanks, guys!

I’m sure he’s never heard of you, either.

He’s been doing a column for a year or so, recent retiree from the Army (Lt. Col., Infantry, as I recall), and wrote “Conservative Insurgency” last year. . .

Cruz set back and let Trump do the heavy lifting. He didn’t start attacking Trump until it was clear it was going down to a two man race. As a matter of fact, in the begining of the primary, he and Trump attended rallies together.

Bottom line is once Cruz tried to separate himself from Trump by attacking him, he lost the electorate. Cruz people need to get over the fact that the majority of the people rejected thier candidate.

Exactly. Why is this election going to be any different from every single one I have voted in since 1968, where you had to pick between the lesser of two bad candidates? It's always been this way. There is never the "perfect" candidate we wish for.

This "I won't vote because of my principles" crap doesn't hold water. Everyone of these people will sit on their thumbs and let Hillary take the prize, like the spoiled, tantrum-throwing Republicans did in 2012 and instead of voting for Romney to win, they let Obama take it.

Those kind of "principles" don't impress me at all.

I Am Going To Vote For Trump Though It Makes Me Want To Projectile Vomit

I Am Going To Vote For DOLE Trump Though It Makes Me Want To Projectile Vomit
I Am Going To Vote For Bush Jr. Trump Though It Makes Me Want To Projectile Vomit (I voted Alan Keyes in primary)
I Am Going To Vote For McCain Trump Though It Makes Me Want To Projectile Vomit
I Am Going To Vote For Romney Trump Though It Makes Me Want To Projectile Vomit
I Am Going To Vote For Trump Though It Makes Me Want To Projectile Vomit

....because Hillary as POTUS is worse..,......plus....if Trump screws the pooch and goes off the reservation the first few months in office, the Democrats will line up with the (hopefully) Republican majority In the House and Senate in order to impeach him.
