DONALD J. TRUMP RESPONDS TO SPEAKER PAUL RYAN
"I am not ready to support Speaker Ryan's agenda. Perhaps in the future we can work together and come to an agreement about what is best for the American people. They have been treated so badly for so long that it is about time for politicians to put them first!"

:: The Gop wouldnt be even thinking of a 3rd party candidate unless they had identified this was a hostile takeover by Trumps campaign all along ::
Does anyone recall that “Rinse & Repeat-bus” asked Trump to agree that he would NOT run a third-party campaign if he lost the nomination?
Trump needs to hold their feet to the fire during this primary season. And, then do the same to Hillary in the general.
Even Cruz had said that he would “not get personal with Hillary” in the general election. Benghazi? National Security? Use of position to enhance a foundation? Has Trump done that?
He needs to hammer the uniparty.
I’m hoping that Trump will not hold back.

Now, *that's* a real nice way to say "kiss my ass."
Ryan's best hope is that he loses the nomination for reelection to Paul Nehlen.
Kiss My Ass Paul Ryan ping.

Totally on-board with that translat! I spent 10+ years in the Chicago suburbs; I know who Betty Maltese (Cicero) is/was.
I still have “structural integrity” in my knees but if I ever return...?

‘He needs allies in Congress and I think this is better way to do it, than to pretend to get along with a bunch of meaningless platitudes.’
Reagan went to the American people via televised announcements and ramrodded congress. Trump can too, but even his tweets have tremendous clout.
And sometimes? He won’t even need to tweet.

“Ryan is such an arrogant @ss. Ryan’s statement and Trump’s response need to be posted and Tweeted everywhere. “
Arrogant? That puts it mildly
He tried to take money from me.
Hugh Hewitt, a GOPe shill, but with enough naïveté to defend us military schlepps, had to fix it via his radio show. More than anyone else did
Ryan is way more dangerous and repulsive and unfit that arrogant.

Add Boehner and McConnell to that list along with Reid, Pelosi, Schumer, Kerry, Dodd, Boxer, et al. They all, IMO, slither.

Maybe Ryan can run on the Dem ticket next time.Maybe he could do it this time as HILLARY'S VP. "A Unity pick." And he'd be much happier there.

Reagan gained Congress' cooperation by engaging Tip O'Neal and other Dem leaders with good humor and manners. Reagan was popular, tons more popular than Trump and the dems felt the pressure from their constituents.
Reagan didn't ramrod anything. He knew he had to win the American people over first and had them pressure their congresscritter.
Reagan wasn't a bully. He knew a smile worked better than an insult. Reagan was determined and worked hard at persuading the American people. That is how he was successful.
Trump has a ton of work to do to on Capitol Hill.
It will take much more than a tweet to get anything done in Congress. I am realist, not a dreamer.

Trump is damn good. Notice how much Trump spent on the primaries compared to what the “professional” politicians spent on their campaigns? The “pros” spent tens of millions of other peoples’ monies and lost. Funny how all the brilliant people in the world don't notice that. God forbid we have a “flawed” businessman become CEO of the United States of America.
