The poll also found that following Trump's landslide primary victories last week, his support among Republican and Republican-leaning voters nationally is up 6 points. Trump has hit 56 percent support, his highest yet in the NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll.
As the primary season winds down, Trump has gained more support from Republican leadership, and Trump's spike appears to be a sign that Republicans are beginning to rally together to support the front-runner.
Support for Cruz and John Kasich is down this week. Cruz has 22 percent support, down 4 points from last week. Kasich has 14 percent support, down 3 points, according to the tracking poll.

People are jumping on the bandwagon of the one who actually wins, and not the one who has to nibble away at the edges to steal a delegate or two here and there.

If only Kasich would have dropped out so that Cruz could have gone one-to-one with Trump. /sarc

A Cruz bought delegate would be happy to give Cruz the nomination so he could win 22% of the vote nationally? Their goal is obviously to lose at all cost. They want Hillary.

Some nominal Cruz supporters are voting for Trump to reduce the chances of a contested convention. They prefer to hold their nose now, over the mess that might follow a contested convention.

Fingers crossed for Trump in Indiana today. A big win there should just about put the nomination in Trumps hands.

People began to draw an obvious relationship of Cruz with Kasich, and it got a little hard to shake it off. That Cruz and Kasich had a falling out almost instanteously after the supposed “alliance” probably did not register with more people.
Marco Rubio STILL has more pledged candidates than Kasich.

That’s what I expect to happen. A no frills, no BS convention where cooler heads prevail and simply coronate the majority winner.
To: tatown
If Cruz does not suspend his Campaign all hope for him will be lost, his credibility will be shot. He’s becoming an establishment jerk who wants to get Hillary elected at all costs.
