Good gosh. I used to like Cruz. Or so I thought.
Each week he does something stupid, says something incredibly stupid, or lines up more with GOP Establishment.
Shut up already, Ted and go home.

There is definitely something very wrong with him.
It’s beyond irresponsible for this clown to act like this.

[Cruz isnt exactly the conservative people say he is.]
Yeah, no kidding. How anyone still believes that is beyond me. Of course, how anyone believes he can beat Hillary is way beyond me.

Very interesting, lapsus. Thanks for the info. As I said, I didn’t follow this stuff being interested in my own state, of course.

I don’t think Donald Trump is. Staunch conservative.
But neither is Cruz.
Trump is pretty honest about what he has done.
However, he pushed me off his boat with the gay pandering.

At this point Cruz might as well be a democrat as everything, and I mean everything he is doing right now does nothing but help the democrat party and Hillary Clintoon in the general election.
People need to go to Cruz’s rallies and protest him to get out of the race and tell him to QUIT helping Hillary Clowntown.

Just a bit of gratuitous character assassination from Classy Cruz. Exactly. Completely irresponsible and despicable. Calling it slimy gives slime a bad name...

Cruz said there will be a revolt if someone else other than Cruz or Trump was elected. Revolt, Riot, whats the difference? I guess Cruz was half right.

This election has been a real meatgrinder - candidates are being put to the test, finding out what they are really made of in ways that haven't been seen in years, if ever. Cruz just isn't making the cut - there's been moment after moment for him to show his vaunted intellect, opportunities to hit his stride as the bona fide conservative "outsider" he claims to be, and has bungled it over and over. I can only conclude that he isn't the person I thought he was, doesn't have the sort of skillsets I thought he did. Initially I took umbrage to Trump calling Cruz "Lyin' Ted" because after all, he was my senator, I worked to get him elected, voted for him and all, but as I later realized, Trump had his number all along and everything Cruz has said and done since has only served to reinforce that perception.

Will be interesting to see what Cruz and Kasich do in the next two weeks. by my calculation, Trump may have over 1100 delegates by May 17th or before. So Cruz is going to stay in it, even though Trump has the number needed by June 8th. Waaaaaaaay over.. waaay over folks. If Cruz is ceding Indiana, that's 50 or so delegates for Trump, plus Trump is also guaranteed another 50 from NJ. That puts him at 1100 guaranteed, with all these other states remaining:
STATE DATE DEL TYPE ALLOCATION
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Indiana May 3 57 Open Primary WTA (ALREADY ACCOUNTED FOR)
Nebraska May 10 36 Closed Primary WTA
West Va. May 10 34 Open Primary Direct Election
Oregon May 17 28 Closed Primary Proportional
Washington May 24 44 Closed Primary Proportional
California June 7 172 Closed Primary WTA
Montana June 7 27 Open Primary WTA
New Jersey June 7 51 Open Primary WTA (ALREADY ACCOUNTED FOR)
New Mexico June 7 24 Closed Primary Proportional
South Dakota June 7 29 Closed Primary WTA
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
So Trump would need to get about 137 delegates from the above available approx 394 delegates, or about 35%.
It looks pretty doable.

A year ago I thought Cruz was a principled conservative who loved the Constitution and would make a very good president.
Now I'm not sure if he needs a straitjacket and a long stay in a padded room.
What in the world has happened to this guy?!

Exactly.
He is very clever in the way he handles the eGOP, media and pundits that are out to get him.
Cruz is in a battle of wits and is unarmed.
Or like in the “old west” gets his “gun”(attacks) shot out of his hand, that is in the metaphorical sense, mouth.

I have been a Cruz supporter. but ever since NY II have been urging him to support Trump who is going to be the nominee.
I am praying Cruz does an about face after tomorrow when I also pray Trump wins.
This nation needs the GOP united (without the “e”) as soon as possible so we can beat Hillary.
Cruz can help make that happen. I pray he does, but at this point, this race needs to be definitively over, including no chance for a convention floor fight.

It will be interesting to follow the pay increase Mrs. Cruz will get too, from her crooked boss Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein.
